I'm just curious- when was the last time you realized your opinion on something changed? (It can be something really big, like a political or religious opinion, or something really small, like your opinion on a movie or song)
For me, I hadn't been able to enjoy eating fish for a very long time, but today, I went to a fish and chips shop and tried cod for the first time in years, and found it's one of the nicest meats I've eaten in a long time. So I changed my mind on how I feel about eating fish!
Hmm...this is a really interesting question, but I can’t think of anything at the moment.
I think I tend to form most opinions very slowly and deliberately, so there’s less of a chance of me changing my mind once I have one—if that makes sense.
Finding that a certain meal tastes nice, that you formerly didn't like, must be very nice.
For me, the relationship. I mean, the romantic relationship. What it means to me has drastically changed a little bit ago.
My whole life was like, dedicating all I have for it, for the jerk after jerk. Seriously.. They'd be obsessed with me and I'd be obsessed with them as well.
Now I realize I don't need any love relationship. Being a single is sooooo nice! It's, FREE!! I'm free! So free!! <33 which is actually really nice.
I've been rethinking my strong opinion about a sensitive topic. It's not as drastic as it sounds, but I feel like actually naming it could lead to derailing the thread so I'll avoid that. It's just that I don't have all of the information and I can assume two things. I can assume malice, but people always assume malice when they don't understand something and 90% of the time they're just wrong. I can also assume struggle, but I just can't muster empathy for someone in a much more privileged situation than me.
This is what I thought about last night. I'm really on the fence about a certain topic and I agree with arguments from both sides, I just don't know which one I actually believe in myself. Again, it's not like the most serious topic, it's pretty lighthearted actually, but I feel like if people are left to assume the truth can't be in someone's favor can it? But I also don't want to fill my lack of knowledge with negativity because that's just a terrible thing to do.
