I'm currently at 9 for a couple of days now, and I already have the problem that some villagers want to move for one or another reason. But luckely I could stop them from moving in time by calming them if they had argued.
Is there something extra I get or unlock from a 10'th villager?
Will it affect my town rating? (Currently 3 stars)
Will the game forcefully move a villager out eventually because of one reason or another?
And like in New Leaf will there be new more to do when you get your 10th villager or extra shops?
I can already do landscaping, but decided to keep my map for what it is for the most time right now.
I'm going for the cute style in my house and have around 5 item from the series in my house, so I'm curious what will change.
I've already seen people quit playing (by being bored) and I never had the problem of anyone wanted to leave (took around 2 years in New Leaf)

If I decide to place a plot for the 10th villager, so it safer to use an amiibo card or go to random islands for a new villager?. (I have all cards, so thats not a problem)

Not that I know of. I have 10 now, and it's more or less the same. As for getting bored, whether you have 9 or 10 villagers, it should make no difference.

It's completely safe to use amiibos. Any bugs you hear about involve adopting villagers from other players, not using the amiibo cards yourself.

Do you know If I use an Amiibo right now (with my 9 villagers) and do the quest for that person 3 days in a row. Do I then get the option to replace anyone in my town with my scanned Amiibo or do you need 10 villagers before that option becomes available to move out a specific villager. (however I do already have the 10th plot in my inventory, but for now I'm sticking with 9 villagers, so I'm not sure if that will effect something)

Same rules apply to amiibos, except with amiibos you have direct control over who gets kicked out. So you will need either 10 villagers, or an open plot to invite them in. You may help them for 3 days, but on the 3rd day, you'll need to meet the prereqs to invite them in.
