That's not true. I've seen this dialogue before, and that isn't what they say - I've heard my Smug villager say it too.
They say something along the lines of "I'm looking forward to diving.... into my cozy bed!"

And i'm saying this because the Wedding Event lasts all the way until the end of June.

And of course, Nintendo will announce the stuff that'll be included in the update, so that specific video I expect to show up on the last week of June.
