I bought New Leaf around mid-March as a new game to play on the plane for spring break. I'd never played an AC game before. Did not expect the crippling addiction that ensued.
I've played AC:NL since NA launch day, 2013, but have played AC since Wild World, back in 2005. I've put in over 1200 hours on AC:NL on my own 3DS alone, plus a bunch more on my second...I mean my partner's...3DS.
I started ACNL on June 13th 2013, and I never reset my town so I still have it 2+ years later ^_^
I got into the AC series with Wild World in 2006, and then went back and played the GameCube version because I liked it so much. I didn't care for the Wii version so I barely played it at all.
My first animal crossing game ever was wild world for the ds. It was my first video game ever because my parents kind of denied me of video games when i was a kid. I was so obsessed with wild world that i played it for six years haha. I also played city folk for a bit, but for some reason i didnt play it that much. That game was not that memorable for me. My favorite animal crossing game is new leaf though. I played it for the first year that it came out, them i got bored and took a break from playing it for a while. But now im back playing it because a friend just got the game a few months ago and now i have a goal to make my town pretty for the first time. I want to makes paths and decorate the town with trees and bushes.
As a harvest moon fan, I first heard of AC in a harvest moon forum so I gave it a try. ACNL was my first title and I gotta say, interacting with anthropomorphic animals is fun though a bit weird at first lol.
I started playing animal crossing on the gamecube when I was little. All I did was catch bugs and fish. I never talked to the villagers so they ended up moving out and my bro got mad at me because he also played it too. I haven't played animal crossing ever since until a few months ago when I got new leaf from club nintendo.
