When Did You First Start Playing ACNL?

Christmas 2015.
I erased my town in June 2016 and started fresh.
My main town has been the same one since then.
I was, like, 4 when I my mum got ACLGTTC (ACCF), and I was the one who mainly played it.
Then, when I was about 7, for some reason, I RESET MY TOWN I HAD SINCE I WAS FOUR and made this really tacky new town. And, guess what? IT SUCKS TO HAVE NO MONEY IN ANIMAL CROSSING. So I gave up on it... But, I have ONE recording, possibly more, of that ACCF town.
To this day, I still remember myself creating that town...

Okay uh complicated answer...

I started my first town in July 4, 2015. But then I destroyed it and remade a different town on December 5th, 2017. I regret it really badly. The reason I restarted was cuz Marshal, my dreamy, moved out and I was hella devastated and too stupid to think straight. But it's funny cuz he came back in my new town. But now I just don't have the same flaming time, energy, and motivation to rebuild what I have lost and it's pretty much a newb's wasteland in my new town. Hell, I haven't even unlocked Shrink yet and it's pathetic.

I had the perfect town record in my first file. Had the clock and everything. And I also had the rarest and most expensive sets cataloged and I just threw it all away like some ungrateful son of a gun.

Maybe one day my new town will catch up to my first one because I sure as all hell miss it.

I really first got into it between undergraduate and graduate school. I was really down about not knowing what to do for a career and I needed some time to rest. However I think my battle with depression started around this time. I picked up ACNL because I remember loving CF and the original so much. I got hooked on it, joined this forum, and the rest is history

I then went from only posting in VTP and Retail to playing mafia and meeting a lot of people around the forum and I'm really grateful for that still. I'm a successful adult (imo) but I never forget my roots and who/ what was there when I wasn't as well off.

Now we play together, she teaches me everything and we share a lot of stuff in game

I started playing back in either 2015 or 2016. I got my 3DS that years Christmas, after wanting one forever! I used some of the Christmas money I got to buy it, since it looked intriguing at GameStop (since I loveee animals.) I remember one of my first ever towns being named Chevalia, but not sure about my first EVER town.

When New Leaf first came out. kind of bought a 3ds to play and Pokemon XY. Just good times. Prior to that I had only played City Folk.

Im a bit late compared to veterans. I started playing new leaf in july of 2018 I believe but when wild world came out I always knew I wanted to get into it. I just never bought as a kid it but it still feels nostalgic to me when I play it now

Well. I got the game probably a month after it came out in the USA. I loved it, and I played it every chance I could. I lost my 3DS at a mall and somebody stole it from me. About a year later, I got a new 3ds and started playing acnl there. Then, it took about another year for me to actually start working on my town! So it was a while until I started playing again.

I first started playing when I was about ten years old!

A friend of mine came over with her 3DS and showed me the game and let me create a character on it and whenever she came over with her 3DS I got to play.

After she moved away, mom got me my own 3DS and I got my own copy of the game! Feels great to have full control over my town... and hit my villagers with nets all the time!

Sometime in May 2018. I'd played Mario Kart with my family and loved the Animal Crossing track, my brother and sister played acnl years ago so I bid in it on ebay and won. I'm still not sure if that was a good thing lol.

I've still not played the older AC games but I'm pretty happy that I didn't have as long as a wait for the next game.

I started playing on December 25th, 2014! I have reset my town multiple times since and now have stopped playing but it's a game I hold close to my heart

Everyone else I knew started playing the game on the release date and so I bought the game myself after a few weeks.
As for the series itself, I first started playing it one day a week whenever my cousins came over with their game cube. so I don't know the first game THAT well. WW was the first game i actually owned

I got it the day before release day (thank you, preorders) and I've been taking a bit of a break from it lately, but am starting to slowly pick it up again now <3
