What's your villagers' catchphrases?

I have almost all my villagers saying "periodt" except for Canberra, who says "ACAB." I considered giving them normal catchphrases but decided against it. Only problem is that if I ever give them away after I ask them to leave, they'll be saying "periodt"

all mine have their normal ones since i'd want to give them each unique catchphrases but they'd just spread them around so it would defeat the point of giving them any

Right now, I think I must have at least one "♪" somewhere — it's the first catchphrase I gave out cause I was uninspired that time —, but the main two the others have atm is a keysmash & "trans rights"

Marshal and Hopkins are both saying "fluffy tail", Boyd is saying "hoo hoo ha", and Pashmina is saying "bah-bah". Don't ask about the last one.

I have Teddy, Tom and Marshal saying "oh god no," and Ursala saying "with vodka."

Phoebe's is "expelliarmus" because she's a phoenix, so a Harry Potter spell seemed fitting.

Oh my gosh, same... Phoebe was the first to ask me yesterday if I wanted her catchphrase to change, and I was like “no, I like being called Sparky”

most of mine say "honey" bc that's my islands name and every villager is my mom. when i was a baby tho placing CF i always had them say "in bed."

I made Olive say "honey" because she is sweet and a bear cub. Hazel says "yes yes" because uchis were scammers in nl so i imagined that she used to be an apprentice for tom nook and copied his speech patterns along with his scamming ways. Is it just me or does tom like saying "yes yes" quite a bit? XD I made Axel say "bye" because he cant stand me and wanna leave my island, or at least i wish that was the case.

I taught my jock, Kevin, to say “flex” and my dog villager, Maddie, to say “borf.” Cute, right?

Now everyone is saying them. It’s quite the surreal experience to witness a kangaroo or cat barking or the dainty Marina flexing on me.

Strangely enough, I want my villagers to retain their original catchphrases in this game. I did have a few who came up to me to change things up. I made Gruff say "sizzle" because I couldn't come up with anything else better, Raymond is now saying "reeeOwrrr" because he's a cat and I want him to sound like Tangy, and I've made Carrie say "hop hop" because she's a kangaroo and I find that cute for her. Raymond spread his catchphrase to Queenie so now an emu is saying "reeeOwrrr" as well. Who would've thought?
