I am horrible at music and in past towns, I just looked online for something that sounded interesting.

In New Leaf, my town tune was based on this duck ornament I have in real life on my door which has four balls which chime when the door is opened.

For New Horizons, I revisited the GCN title Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. In two chapters, the player visits a cathedral that has a piece of sheet music the player must use to advance. I looked at the notes and copied them as best as I could using pauses to stretch the seven note tune to fill the sixteen available. It fits my Lovecraft themed island.

The song is called Wind Scene. It is the map music for the Middle Ages in Chrono Trigger.
