Mine is one of the Chocobo Theme songs from the Final Fantasy games! It's to match my flag, which is a picture of a chocobo! I might change it sometime, though.

initially laziness in making a town tune, though I've grown to like the silence on the hour if I'm playing with the volume on (which isn't very often tbh, I normally just mute the 3DS and shuffle my iTunes music library)

Sometimes silence is nice I've never tried that / thought of doing that in ACNL, so I might give it a try for an hour, to see what it's like (I'll most likely set my town tune back, though haha)

My town tune is the main chorus of 'Viridian City' - a Pokemon song. I first made it when I started the game last year, I couldn't think of anything so I went with what I knew (Pokemon!), but now I'm so used to it that I don't think I could change it! It's just become part of my town

Another Clannad fan, I see there was someone else, earlier in this thread, that I believe had the opening theme for their town tune? I may be wrong about it being the opening, though, but I definitely recall another user having something related to Clannad

The Tsurikyuu March from the Tsuritama OST. It's real cute and uplifting to hear and it goes well with a game like acnl.

Gave it a listen and it seems very familiar don't know where I've heard it before, but I definitely recognize it! Nice choice for a town tune I agree, it's cute and uplifting!

Let It Go <3 I loved that song but then it got super overplayed... Ugh. Maybe a personal Christmas favorite? But like the user posted above, that might get annoying quick, too haha the struggle

A crappy ding-dong town clock style tune I made up on the fly. It's quite catchy though, my boyfriend often imitates it because I have the sound on my DS mega loud. xD
