What’s your preferred method to move out villagers?

I’ve been trying to get a few villagers to move out and I feel as though I’ve tried multiple methods and nothing is working.

So I’m curious, what methods have you tried and found success with? What ones seem to do absolutely nothing for you?

This method seems like worth a try, my only question is when I TT back to current time from however many days ahead, does it count as though multiple days have passed?

Followed the guide and Marshall wanted to move. I quickly shot that down. 2nd try landed on kk slider. I think that's an event? 3rd try saw a rainy day so I changed it to the day after. Finally got Gayle to leave! Yippee! Now if only I could find Sherb when I go island hopping!

TT backwards will count as one day forward, regardless of how far back you go.

Happy to hear that it works for you! I will say that I’ve definitely had villagers ask to move out even when it’s raining so don’t skip those days!

I don't TT, so I just hope that ignoring them for the most part causes them to want to move eventually.
