4 10 hour days sounds like the best option for me - that’s a long workday but at least i get 3 days off during the week

I work 40 hours a week from May-August and I'm allowed to spread it out however I want, and I actually tend to do 5-and-a-bit hours all 7 days of the week! Someone people probably think I'm crazy, but I'd rather work a bit each day than work long hours in one day. I lose focus pretty easily, and I also get bored if I don't have any work to do on weekends :p I have no social life so it works haha

I work five 8-hour workdays, but I'd love to try four 10-hour workdays. I think I'd be OK working a couple more hours a day to have a three-day weekend.

I like 5/8. A three day weekend sounds nice, but 10 hour days don't leave me enough time in the evenings

3 days seems like something I could do. I'm quite good at focusing on something all day if I have to, and I have the rest of the week off.

I usually work a 5 day/8 hour work week and I honestly don't like it at all. The week drags by and the weekend goes way too quickly. However, twice in the past I have had the opportunity to work a 4 day/10 hour work week and I loved it. We weren't allowed to take our extra day off on Monday or Friday, but I chose Wednesday and that worked out just fine for me. It felt like a mini-weekend in the middle of the week. Because I have extreme anxiety every Sunday before going back to work, knowing I only had to work for 2 days before getting a break made things a lot easier on me. I wish my current job would offer that option, but I know that's not happening.

Five eight hour days to be honest. Though with the amount of stuff I could be doing as three careers, I would probably be working 24/7. Just depends I guess.

Sounds nice to be able to space out your workdays like that

Five eight-hour weekdays would be ideal for me currently, it is fairly accessible here thankfully.
As long as I am moving around, I can typically handle long hours. Largely depends on the type of work.

Four days of work with ten hours of work per day is definitely the sweet spot for me. Seems like a good work/life balance to have three days to yourself. Hopefully I can make that happen in the future.

In my previous job I worked 6 days a week (Monday off) 11am-8pm, sometimes longer if there’s an event in the weekend. It was exhausting. I moved back home to help out my parents and while I technically don’t have a day off, I only work 3-4 hours and the rest is freelance work from home. It’s easier and flexible for me, but I miss my old job even though it was tiring. It was at least interesting. My ideal would be to have a 3-day off and pack the rest of the hours in the remaining days though, or 4 ten hour days like the poll (if I wasn’t in my flexible situation right now lol)

Eh not sure how the last one are phrased cause they don't make sense, but honestly 6 hours is def enough.. maybe 8 could work depending on what job i have with enough breaks, but yeah.

4 days of 10 hours would probably make a world of difference, having a 3rd extra day in the week for just two more hours of work a day sounds amazing.

Honestly I pull so many long days now that I would even like 2 days of 20 hours- work on Tuesday, sleep all day Wednesday, and work Thursday and have 4 days weekend : 0

Here 10 hours days are pretty common, so I'd love it if it was only 4 days a week.

I already work 5 days a week with anywhere from 6 to 9 hour shifts. I've done 10 hour and 12 hour work days and I don't like it. Mostly cause I hate my job, maybe if I had a job I enjoyed then I would be able to spend longer work hours there without wanting to climb up the walls and scream.

It really depends for me thou when I'm working, so that I can make time in my day to do things as well.

I'd love to have a 6 hour day instead of 8. I feel like the last 2 hours of my shifts I'm braindead anyway lol.

Can I choose to work less hours lol

I’d pick either 5x8h or 6x6h. I can’t stand for more than 8h and the jobs I’ve had always require me to stand the whole shift so those shifts are tiring. But if it’s a desk work job then definitely 8-10h would be great

I work a six 9-hour workdays, I absolutely despise working the sixth day because only having one day off just isn't enough to re-energize me physically and mentally and I'm always exhausted. I'd love a 5 days 8 hours instead.
