Yeah, rain for me too. Although I don't really like the rain music, it's charming but it gets rid of/tones down some of the melody which is rather jarring for me.

I have never experienced snow in animal crossing before, even though I have had animal crossing 5 times. 3 were from past 3ds when I was like 11 that I sold, the 2 current ones are my cycling town and my main. Snow looks the best though.
