I really love designing my house and town, collecting items and filling up my catalog as well as just generally interacting with my villagers <3 I love all the seasonal events too!
Load up the game, decide I don't have the bravery/patience to make sure Lobo hasn't moved out, then turn it off without playing. It's been my #1 most frequently done ACNL-related activity in the past six years.

Collecting furniture and designing homes. I'm not 100% sure why I like it. I kinda think It's just because like to show off and just like show people all the cool stuff I have

Favorite things to do in AC would be completing the catalogue,finishing the museum and encyclopedias,interacting with villagers,fishing,decorating the town and houses and lastly getting all the badges! It's also nice to be able to go at your own pace and take in the beautiful scenery around. Just taking things slowly and enjoying the little things in your town.
Honestly, I think landscaping. I used to not be into it at all, but once I started collecting starts I got addicted. I adore laying down paths with trees, starts, flowers and tiles and watching the town just come to life.
This is a tough one! I have so many favourite things to do! Maybe talking to villagers? They are so cute and funny to talk to. I'm probably with RedTropicalPeachyFish on this one:

The game is just so adorable and even the annoying bits such as loans is what makes it such a great game. I hope that ACNH will measure up and be another classic for years to come. The bar keeps getting higher with every Animal crossing game (Except for HHD and amiibo festival)

Probably just chatting with my villagers; they're my friends and I love them <3 But also landscaping and fishing. That's cool too.

My favorite thing to do is just to create a path and design the town around it, alongside resetting villagers moving in for days. It's just so nice to some order to it, I can't wait for New Horizons to allow all of that much more easily. Other than that, just playing the game and existing is always fun too. Talking to the villagers and just seeing what happens in my town.

time traveling? if that counts lol. im a very impatient person and i dont like waiting for villagers to move in, and pwps to finish so i tt forward a lot. but i also do love getting hybrids & befriending my villagers to try and get their pic
Omgosh, I love time travelling, mainly just as it let's you access things you would normally have to get up early/stay up late for (which isn't super great for me as I'm anaemic so I have an excuse hah) as well as not having to wait for christmas to have christmas and snow! Recently, trying to collect all the mush(?) furniture, kinda exciting never knowing whether it's just a mushroom or furniture.

My favorite thing to do is working on badges
catching loads of fish and bugs until I get tired of it then going to the dream suite and exploring towns, mailing 10 letters at a time, etc 
my favorite thing to do is definitely to landscape and decorate my house. there has been times where i have gone countless hours just making my town beautiful and playing around with ideas to decorate my house. i also like to collect badges, complete requests for my villagers, play Puzzle League and Desert Island Escape, etc etc.

I've received most of my pics directly from the villagers after completing a task(some have been mailed too),usually from giving them non-native perfect fruit or bringing another villager to their house.They'll give them up for other tasks but for some reason it's usually for the ones I mentioned.It took almost two years for Tangy to give me her pic and that was back when I used to play more often.
