What's your biggest in-game stroke of luck?

I found Lucky on a mystery island!!! I didn't know what I was expecting, but finding a dreamie on my second ticket was definitely not it! I nearly screamed the house down!

Every time I have gone on a Mystery Tour, I always spent less than 10 tickets before finding a villager I was content with. It's how I managed to snag Merengue, Zucker, Audie, Marshal, and Flurry.

I did have to trade NMT for Beau (my ultimate dreamie) so I guess that's where my luck failed me haha. Still on the hunt for Molly and Judy!

Raymond was my first mandatory move in camper, I couldn't believe it! I would of never been able to get him otherwise, at least not for a loooong time.

Idk if its really luck but I read a thread where if you clap for orville it brings up the rate of rare islands
idk if its actually true bout RIGHT AFTER I did that i went to an island and raymond was there

My first mystery tour island had one of my dreamies Ozzie there. I was so delighted and could not believe my luck!

One evening when I was looking for my ninth villager. I only had three or four tickets to use but I got pansy hybrid island, then hyacinth hybrid island, then tarantula island with a visiting Sherb!

I did really well that night, lots of hybrids, lots of tarantulas to sell to Flick and a brand new villager I really wanted. Awesome.

Yesterday I wanted to look for my 8th and 9th villagers, I got Bob on the first island who I love. He is in my New Leaf village, and then Raymond on my 3rd island. It was the day of the cats. I couldn't be happier.

I was looking for a snooty or cranky (2 personalities I didn't have yet) and I found Bunnie! She's one of my all-time favourites, so I couldn't pass her up. I ended up getting Elvis and Diana the next 2 days, so it worked out great.

So when I was recruiting my 3rd, 4th, and 5th villagers, I found tarantula island with Bianca. Bianca is my favorite villager in the series and I could not believe my luck recruiting her almost instantly.

at that time I had no idea that as the third one I talked to that day, she was the last villager I could recruit, nor had I been aware beforehand that tarantula island was even a possibility. This was day three after release lol. I was so happy.

On 3 of my first 4 mystery tours I got dreamies (and they were the peppy, lazy and normal ones) so I got Marina, Broccolo and Pango in 4 tickets

After about 4-5 resets as soon as the game came out, I got an island that had my favorite fruit (peaches), a yellow airport (my preference), and Dom & Cherry as my starters (who I was very content with).

Probably that I got phoebe as my starting uchi who is my favorite uchi, and got Stitches, Audie, and Celia as the 3-5 villagers who moved in randomly (I didn't invite the one I found on islands), who all are my favorite or closed to favorite of Lazy, Peppy, and Normal <3 I am going to keep them all on my island forever muahaha /evil laughing

Finding Marina (3 tickets), Flora (2 tickets) and Tangy (2 tickets) all within about a week and a half. I had some less-than-desirable random move ins at first, but got super lucky with my last three villagers, plus I hardly had to spend any nook miles!

I wanted to add an 8th islander so that I could unlock island evaluation from Isabelle. I was saving up all my precious NM to purchase the terraforming/path apps & furniture/stuff so I could not afford to go mystery island hopping. I was still collecting eggs for Bunny Day so I decided to go for only one mystery island tour and if there wasn't an islander I was happy with I'd let RNG choose one for me.

Whitney was on that island. She's not a dreamie of mine, but I was more than happy to take her!

My biggest stroke of luck wasn't island related (TBH the NMT have screwed me plenty of times while I was tarantula hunting).

It was within the second day when I was smashing rocks that one of them threw out 3 gold nuggets in a row, given this was the second day of release and I didn't know what they were about I sold them, completely unaware to how rare they were.

I couldn’t sleep at 5am so played some AC, found Raymond in my campsite, said ‘no f****** way’ out loud and woke up my husband

Hmm, it'd be a toss up between

• Turnips at 594, which meant I made a profit of 4 mil and I charged people to enter my island, earning me almost 200 NMT
• 2 visits to scorpion island back to back (I only visited the island once on both days)
