What's up with the rich text?

So, suddenly the posting field supports rich text... Which is nice for the people who like it, but is there an option to disable it for those who don't? I really hate rich text fields in forums...

i agree, i just didn't know it had a name.

i thought it was something like dynamic links or something, hyperlinking, whatever

it's really annoying trying to edit a link. fix plz.

Only difference is, that you can actually see rich text in the editor instead of codes ([BOLD][/BOLD])
