One depressing moment I tore my hair out over was the fact that every time I beat Classic, Adventure, or All-Star Mode in Melee with ANY Pokemon, the game would freeze just as I get the trophy. EVERY time.

I wish I had a replay, but one time at my friends house Link got the Smash Ball and trapped Ike. However, at the moment Link delivered the final blow, a Shiek teleported directly below the trajectory, which somehow cushioned the flight and kept him from dying. Ike then flew up in the air and down smashed on Link, killing him. It was one of the most hype moments ever.
Last night, I got my 4,000th kill as Lucas. I even set it up so perfectly so I could get it just the way
I wanted it to be.
Killing Ness while I have the Smash Ball aura around me and killing him with a throw.

A few months ago, when my brother was playing as Meta Knight and I was playing as Ganondorf. I almost lost, but then I got the Smash Ball and the Isaac assist trophy. My Final Smash he survived, but Isaac swept him off the stage three times. I got the Smash Ball again, and KO'd him that time. I swear, I got extremely lucky in that match.

I will always remember the first time when falco was fighting me so I could unlock him. It was a one on one battle falco vs lucas within 10 seconds falco was ko'd. The reason because I hit him off the stage and he used his b+up (bacically going up in a fire falcon) and I threw a fire crate off the very edge as he used that and he caused an explosion which knocked him out of the skybox then I laughed my ass off and couldn't belive my eyes at the same time
When it was me(Samus) and my friend(Kirby) 1v1 5 stock.
I was on a little over 100% and he was fresh bc I had just killed his second to last stock.
He was going after me and I jumped off the course and he was right under me so I slammed him down to death.
It was my first spike ever.

My first time playing through adventure mode in Melee as Princess Peach. I was a big fan of Peach and it was the first time I was really able to play as her in a game that felt... well, adventure-like and not like a spinoff, so it was really exciting for little me. Also it was really cool travelling through all the Nintendo worlds.

It's me (Doc, in Melee) versus two Level 9's on a team against me (Fox and Falco, for a challenge) we're all at 4 stocks to start with. Final Destination. If either of these two clowns shoots a laser, I take damage or I'm stunned secondarily, giving the other one a chance to attack me. I do a WSHUSM (wavedash, short hop into a uair, into a Smash attack. A great killer.) and knock out Fox's fourth stock, while I'm still on my third. Falco starts laser-walling me (I played on an emulator, and I have a modification to the computer players so they use professional techniques. It's still in beta, though and isn't available right now) and I cape a few of them back. Falco waves towards me and then short hops behind me, and nearly kills me with his bair. I wouldn't have lived if it weren't for Smash DI. I pull a dair as I fast fall down onto the stage, predicting a usmash from Falco for when I fall. I'm at 200% right now, and Falco's still got two stocks left.
I go into Ape Mode. Falco tries to wall me again after retreating to the other side, and instead of caping them I powershield all of them. He jogs back over to me, but stops halfway through and then begins short hop laser-walling me again. More powershield. He takes enough damage that I can pull one last WSHUSM and knock him out. The entire match? Four minutes and thirty-seven seconds.

in person, several years back I watched one of my friends JV dr. peepee that was really rad.
also seeing amsa come out of no where :')
also beating one of my strongest melee friends as yoshi for the first time. ugh....... got him on his last stock with a shield dropped double jump canceled up air. Amsa inspired me to pick up yoshi :')

I'm just glad there are a handful of meleers here :')
A moment I'll honestly never forget in smash bros is the time when my friend and I realized that him playing Samus and myself Zelda is a brutal combo. We completely destroyed everything with those two characters and it was hilarious. I wish I could go back to those days sometimes...

Alright here's one. In Melee's adventure mode, I was playing as Zelda. I only ever switched to Shiek during the F-Zero stage where you travel a length of track. So anyway after playing the mode, I accidently unlocked the Mario Bros 2 stage. I say this because the game belonged to my brother. He was pretty mad, especially since I played it without his permission.
Another one from Melee, my brother and I were playing 2:00 minute vs matches. After winning a match against him, I got a chance to unlock one of the characters (Falco), and won. Quite memorable, since that was the only character I helped him unlock.

When I scratched the disk in 2008 rotfl. That was all I remember other than french fries in 2008 XD.
Another moment I forgot to mention.
Me and 3 Level 9 CPU's, all as Game and Watch, 99 Stock, on a Stage I made called Flat Zone Box. The match lasted over 3 hours. XD It only went up to 99:99 on the results screen.
