I want a lot of my villagers to move (I have only had the game for about 2 weeks now. I have been complaining to Isabelle about them and i have been hitting them over the head with my net to make them mad (have a guilty conscious over this! I feel so bad) I havent been speaking to them either

Any ideas what I could do? And how long it takes?

If you don't mind time travelling, then you can get rid of those villagers you don't want in no time mostly. There are some ways in which you can do that: either you travel day by day so that you keep track of those villagers who want to move (so that you deny or accept requests), which I think is the most useful one since you don't seem to have a cycling town, or you can skip some days with the same result, but it's riskier sometimes.

Hitting them, based off of my personal experience, won't do anything. I hit Charlise for, like, 6 months, and she was stubborn and wouldn't leave, so... xD It was only when I started to be nice to her that she told me something about turf wars and then she left, lol.

Would it bugger things up if I time traveled day by day? I suppose I'd just have easter and that quicker

Dang it! I've been feeling awful for hitting them aswell! hahaha I have been nice to the rest of them but no one is volunteering to go yet I suppose it's just a matter of time. I am so tempted to buy another game just for the use of villager cycling HAHA

As long as you talk to walk in front of all villagers to see if they ping you to tell you they're moving out, or you talk to at least 2 villagers (since 1 could be the one who's planning on moving out) to make them tell you all the gossip about villagers planning to move out and stuff, you should be okay. Just be careful if you load on Bunny Day because it's been reported that all rocks not broken after that day will become permanent, so I suggest you skip that day because they can't even tell you they're moving out because it's an event day. :lemon:
