What's the point in the Reset Centre?

I HATE how Resetti was toned down in this game. I want to be insulted at for Resetting. His dialouge was so humourous and laughable until New Leaf. I thought I would pay that 300k bell some for some good standup comedy. I wanted a good laugh everytime I reset. But now all I get is a lame repeated dialouge...
The point of the Reset Center is:
1. Different things happen down there. Just more scenes and dialogue for the game. My favorite one is where there is a voice activated chair thing that lets the move out when the system detects a reset and you have you speak into the 3DS microphone and then when you say the word 'scramble', the center goes on red alert and Resetti is launched into action.
2. To get Sonny's and Don's pics.
3. To have a cool looking manhole in your town.
4. Something more to do. Its just a small little extra that would make your town feel more complete.

Seriously, I love those mole brothers. Specially Resetti, that guy haves a heart attack everytime he sees me resetting, lmfao. I don't even get scared with him, I always know when I've resetted or not. Sometimes I even reset just to see him.
He got low patience at my resettin', but I don't blame him, that's his ****ing job. Plus it's always fun to caugh him and Don chatting out. Gotta heart that mole.

I reset frequently so I dont have the time to deal with him. id build the center if I didnt strategically reset so often, though.

I don't have it in my town. Expensive and I don't have good memories of Resetti. First time I reset in WW I was laughing at it. It got old fast and just became an annoyance, so I'm happy its optional now. I can think of so many other things to spend my bells on instead of that PWP.
I don't understand why people don't get why they toned Resetti down. A lot of older people may play AC but its still a kids game. If I was a parent I wouldn't be to happy at a game telling my child to call themselves stupid. Some kids brush it off, others don't.

Haha this actually happened to me on the GC one! I was like "Oh. ****." He was the craziest on that one. He would insult you in all caps for ages! But I always just found him funny.
Granted I was already in my late teens when the GC Animal Crossing came out, so I got that it was just supposed to be a joke. I liked to see whatever crazy thing he was going to say next.
I guess I can understand kids taking it seriously and getting upset though, which is why he's an option now.
I think it's more for nostalgia, they don't want to remove him because he's such a mainstay, but if you don't want to get yelled at you don't have to build the reset center.
