Oh! I thought they were only original if they had been given clothes, had their catchphrase changed, and were from a mystery island. What I wanted to know was why people were so hellbent on getting a 100% original mystery island villagerThey're not considered original if they've been gifted clothing (and wear it) or had their catchphrase changed.
I'm not...too sure why it's a big deal, I thought Isabelle could reset those two things but I may be mistaken; I have never tried it.
I didn't realise there was a much of requirement on how they were brought into our islands to be fair - that's kind of new to me (kind of, I know plenty of people didn't want amiibo move ins for a time but I believe that was due to all the apparent glitches they brought with them). What I wanted to know was why people were so hellbent on getting a 100% original mystery island villager
Catchphrases can. Clothes and furniture cannot, unless clothes are a custom design. Some people want them fully original or they want to dress their villagers themselvesGenuine question - can these things not just be reset by Isabelle in a couple of minutes visiting Resident Services? I thought this was how you did that.
Does it not always reset the clothes/catchphrase then?
