What’s still missing in this game?

They exist, WHY can't we have them?

I could theme my island and house if I had them.

• I'd really like more furniture, all of the wooden furniture in this game look a little basic imo.
• I'm missing NPCs like Brewster and Katrina.
• Perfect fruit and dead trees. I want dead trees for my graveyard!! >.<
• Unbreakable tools. Even the golden tools break in this game,,,
• This is personal preference but I think it'd be fun if they added some of the removed villagers back in a future update like Tarou, Woolio, Quetzal and Pierre, I think they'd be really popular.
• Also a new species! NL added two, I think NH could have at least one! Any kind will do, I know bats are popular and some of the designs I've seen are really cute.

am i the only one who misses public works projects from NL? i don't know... i felt like they gave us something to do, to work towards ,,, i know those are kind of obsolete now that you can just put furniture outside, but i also feel like there could be a way for them to implement those into the game as well somehow? also i think the shops really need to be able to be upgraded.

I don't know why the windmill and zen bell didn't make it to NH.

Even PC has those.

I am literally thinking about the food items and all the RV items from NL ALL the time.

I paid enough for my amiibo cards and figures so at least give us the items!

The game is boring. I'm sorry, but it is.
I spent hours looking for something to put on a table and NOTHING!

This game has wooden rubbish/basic furniture and I'm sick of the sight of it.

Since this is a new game, I don’t try not to expect all of the furniture from NL to return, but I honestly was expecting a lot of the HHD items and not oversized pieces of furniture or with textures modified (or customization options limited like I’ve noticed with some of the HHD furniture that was brought into the game). I never liked the gyroids (I liked Brewster’s gyroid), but knowing how creative people can get with even the gyroids, I wouldn’t have a problem with them returning as long as it doesn’t take up the chance or room for other old/new and better items or features that we liked from returning or being introduced.

In spite of the game missing a lot, I’m still having a lot of fun and been staying up way too late lol. It is frustrating, but I’m happy enough to continue playing; it’s kinda my fault for having such high expectations, but as others said, some of the things not available should have been available at the start or not locked behind subscription.

I actually liked some of the public works projects too . So I’d like them to return. I would love more fountain options

Aside from the furniture and gyroids and whatnot, I really, really want the return of the mini-games. They can be tied to Club Tortimer or not, doesn't matter (so long as they're not just temporary like that hedge maze Rover had us do a few months back), I just want actual activities to do with people.

I also have a particular area of my island set aside for The Roost café, so I'd really like to see Brewster make his return.

Not a returning feature, but in addition to all of that, I need the Able Sisters to enable my hoarding problem and let me buy everything I want at once instead of having to go in and out of the dressing room repeatedly.

Edit: Katrina would be nice to see return, but I'm fine either way. Gracie would be nice as an addition to future Nook's Cranny upgrades.

As for perfect fruit, I feel like their addition at this juncture would be odd, but I wouldn't complain since my island's native fruit is apples and perfect apples look really neat. Like some other members, I'd also like dead trees to come back too. I could maybe see them coming back alongside Club Tortimer if they add that back, so we could get more of the old fruit back.

For me it would be the roost cafe I miss Brewster and have a spot picked if it returns. I also miss the post office with pelly Pete and Phyllis. It is a pain having to write one letter at a time. I wish we had the second floor of the museum back I liked decorating those rooms. It would be nice if re-tail would come back and Cyrus could customize the furniture that we can’t.

More hairstyles and hair color varieties. (No light brown, white, dark blue, dark purple, etc.) Would be really cool if they could have ombre or multicolored hair, now that would be a huge step up! They could really bring back other NPCs as well like Brewster, Harriet, or even Kapp‘n. It’s getting really repetitive seeing Leif and Label nowadays.

To add onto this: a baldness option.
Also, whatever accessories and cool stuff they’re getting in pocket camp.

I keep forgetting about the roost! I doubt the post office will make a return, but I would like to see Pelly and Phyllis make an appearance somewhere and somehow.

I just want the luxurious Gracie Grace back, she is an icon lol.

It was way more in-depth in New Leaf than in other games (despite the repetitive dialog). As annoying as it was sometimes, I thought it was awesome when villagers you have a high friendship with could make surprise visits to your house.

I miss the simple things I feel like a lot of players overlook, like running errands for your villagers and checking the dump/police station every day. I know everyone has their daily routines, like shaking trees and hitting rocks, but I'd like more options. If everyone has the same routine then the gameplay can get real stale real fast.

I think a good solution to this problem (although this problem probably only applies to, like, a handful of the playerbase) would be introducing part-time jobs. Like, the villagers could post tasks to the bulletin board for the player to complete in exchange for compensation, friendship points, etc. I'm thinking simple things like fetch quests (e.g. "I want a fresh apple" or "I need wood"), watering flowers, helping them return things to other villagers, things like that. Hell, the villagers could ask me to repair or refurbish DIY furniture for them a la Cyrus and I'd happily oblige. Doesn't that sound fun, engaging, and rewarding as hell? I think so.

Outside of Nintendo Switches, I don't think there's any Nintendo themed items such as Link's clothing, Mario powerups, etc.
