What’s still missing in this game?

I’m just wondering since we’ve had quite a few updates. Aside from events and furniture, what’s still missing to make this a complete animal crossing game? :O

Main thing that sticks out to me is the Roost and Gyroids, followed by Katrina’s tent and Gracies shop. I think those are the most important features? I’d like to see the pelicans back too and have the the card stand replaced by a post office building but maybe that’s too much to ask.

I’m just curious when you guys will feel like it’s a complete animal crossing game and ready to receive brand new content. I’d definitely want to see those features I just mentioned before seeing it as complete

Kind of old, about a month or so, but I did compile a list. There may be more missing, but this is what I found and others had contributed to.

So I hopped on over to one of the mystery islands and dug up four fully grown palm trees because I wanted to redo something I had done on my New Leaf town and I really liked it. I recreated the set-up as close as I could. Everything was going well, planted the palm trees, chopped them down...

Honestly at this point I rather have more furniture instead of NPCs. I am getting tired of using the same things over and over again (and seeing everyone else use the same things over and over again too).

Other than furniture, it's mostly quality of life things. The people who made the fake quality of life ACNH "Nintendo Directs" do a good job of mentioning a lot of good ones.

A lot of people are going to say villager interactions, but I honestly think villager interactions have always been not very interesting in the entire series. Yes, I am including the Gamecube game in this. I don't think AC has ever been that fun for talking to the animals.

That's the point. You see, my fang only told me this once in New leaf. If this was New horizons, fang would say it 30000000times. This is why many say new horizons was a improvement, I think that in till they and everything back, I'm just gonna play new leaf.

For me furniture variety too! Idk why but so many islands look so similar to me due to the relatively small selection. I wanna see serieses Return & new furniture. They cut out so many plants too!! Also, TABLES, I need TABLES. In my house most stuff lies on the floor lol

And the FROG CHAIR I'm not saying New horizons sucks, but it gets a 3/10. It's missing so much of animal crossing's charm and feels like a blank, souless, repetitive shell. I hate to be rude, but I'm very disappointed if what it became vs how it used to look.

Aside from gold and iron nuggets, I have yet to see any emeralds or other gems like there used to be in ACNL
