💎Whats still missing from the update..🔍What still needs to be done! 🔎🍁

Here's what I think:
  • Bulk crafting (giving us a choice of 1 all the way to 5 at the very least) so for example, crafting 5 fish bait each time.
  • The return of lychees, persimmons, durians, bananas, lemons and mangoes, and of course, perfect fruit (maybe even introduce melons and/or watermelons? that would be really cool)
  • Nook's Cranny upgrade/expansion
  • Island tour mini-games
  • Hide-and-Seek, which adds even more villager interactivity.
  • Additional villager slots (doesn't necessarily need to be 15 like in ACPG - going from 10 to 12 would make a HUGE difference)
  • Tree stump special patterns (Triforce, heart, star, etc.)
  • Four-leaf clovers
  • Nintendo-based special furniture that isn't just the Mario series (I miss the Master Sword, Pikmin planter, etc.)
  • The ability to drop up to a maximum of 9 items from your pockets.
  • Woolio and Tarou
 
i want Celeste's observatory...

the second floor of the museum now has a weird empty space on the right side where another door would fit perfectly.

not trying to get my hopes up, but i genuinely think it's a real possibility at some point
 
- Gracie Grace. Is it so hard to ask?? Come on Nintendo. :(
- Pelicans. An actual post office. That little stand is the saddest cop-out ever. I really don't like the whole implication that those poor pilot dodos have to wrestle with island mail too. Surely Pete is hiding away back there. Let him come out. :(
- Nook's Cranny upgrades.
- Permanent fixture for Celeste. She could still wander outside some nights (allowing those who haven't yet to acquire the DIYs).
- Tropical fruits... at least the ones that were present in previous titles.

I mean honestly I feel like my list is very realistic! If all of these things were taken care of (either "outside of the direct" in this upcoming update, or in the nonexistent next one that will never happen) I would truly have absolutely NOTHING else to ask for. The game would be not only entirely and meticulously complete in my eyes, but also absolutely supreme to all other titles. They're so close....... Come on Nintendo. :(

Nope. At least since WW, he's hated bugs. Something about mantis eggs.
 
Not that important but I'm just confused that the Sanrio villagers got back in and the Zelda and Splatoon ones didn't. I mean I really like the Sanrio villagers but the fact they got third party ones back in and not first party is so strange.

Another thing, I miss perfect fruit. I would also name some furniture/clothing items but I'm going to wait until the update and DLC come out just in case there's some they didn't show us.
 
i wholeheartedly just want to hug my villagers. that probably seems so silly, but i’d genuinely never complain about anything again if i could just give my villagers a hug lol.

i’d also love a few more villager slots! i was hoping 2-5 more would be announced alongside the new villagers, but unfortunately i was wrong. i’m still holding out hope, though! 🤞🏻
 
I wish they would let you buy multiple items at a time at Able Sisters and craft multiple items at a time, but I don't think that is going to happen. I also kinda want more buildings for our islands, since mine has so much empty space. If what was in the direct is all we're getting I'll still be happy though.

I think all but the last 2 are fair and realistic.
 
Considering Nintendo confirmed no more content updates, only support, in an interview I guess we will have to wait until the next game for minigames to make a comeback...
 
Just some QOL:
-print multiple NMTs at one time
-Gold tools that don't break (something that you have to work up to)
-Bulk crafting
-Shorter menus (eg; dodo service)
-Faster loading screens
-More efficient terraforming- eg- option to erase an entire cliff structure rather than one square at a time
-Improved hourly music (some variation would be nice)

Edit: just wanted to add that while it would be nice to have at least some of the other mini-games (such as hide-n-seek and the mini console games), I don't think that the job mini-game is a big loss in the cafe- we have never been able to sit, invite and have a coffee and a chat with other villagers/npcs. That in and of itself is like a mini game and something I would have loved in NL. I actually think the cafe is an update to all former versions despite the absence of the work shift and the KK stage.

I missed the mini games in the next update, when i saw Kapp'n i was so sure it was going to happ'n... sadly it did not, i do look forward to exploring the mysterious island tho, hope they put in lotsa fun surprises they didn't mention in the direct.
 
I'm also missing the mini games.
I would also like the villager limit on our islands to increase from 10 to 15.
 
I really really hope the villagers will be able to make requests for cooking dishes. I hope they'll ping us and ask for a certain dish so we'd have to go after the ingredients, cook it up and hand it over. Otherwise the cooking is nice but it seems like useless busy-work to me and I don't really see the point. So I hope it comes with a purpose as well. :)

If Nintendo didn't announce no more major updates, I would've speculated that possibly Zelda and Splatoon villagers would be coming next year. The reason it makes sense is that both Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 and Splatoon 3 are coming out next year. It'd be a good marketing collaboration thing without much effort on Nintendo's part. But with them announcing no more major updates, I don't know if this will happen, as that feels like it'd be a big announcement sort of thing. :(

these would be my exact wishes! Glad it is not just me!
 
I need this rainbow screen and the sweets set.

It would be really nice if when using the camera app, we can interact with objects. Being able to hold objects (tools) in Harv's studio would be good, too.

More hair colors and cute styles, even if they are wigs. I miss the tiny low pigtails style.

More emotes. I like the ones they added, but I'd like one where we lay down on the grass, jump, eat, drink, and the Shrunk dance.

Fairy wings.

Outdoor rugs.


Probably the most important is being able to turn off the hourly music. Some of them are really distracting and I enjoy hearing the ambient noises.
 
I want the multiplayer games most of all, then I want to be able to store flowers and other plants/trees in the storage. Would have also been nice for KK to move elsewhere instead of blocking the door to resident's services. And I wish the pelicans were back cuz I adored Phyllis!
