Oh, yeah, that was me, or at least, I did say that in the random thoughts thread. She just said that she can't really tell me why it was closed or what happened, and that there wouldn't be any "What's bothering you?" threads from here on out, for an indefinite amount of time. I made an announcement about it and added that if anyone wanted to, they could pm me and I'd copy and paste the explanation another user gave me, because it didn't seem the mods were going to explain anything, but they completely removed it. It's been expunged.

My tooth chipped, then later the whole tooth came out, when the new one grew back, it only grew back half way, now it's all sharp on the sides. And, the tooth, it's black, and the gum has swollen onto it and it's also loose again, so i guess im gonna have an embarrassing missing tooth for the rest of my life.

And, it hurts really bad i cant stop messing with it, which makes it hurt more.

Hi there!

Based on the posts in this thread so far, it sounds like you already know that we're going to lock this thread too. The reason being that it's a blatant copy of the "What's Bothering You Thread", and as you already know this thread has been disallowed for the time being due to various members poor conduct.

Right now any type of "What's Bothering You Thread" is going to turn out exactly like this thread has: just discussing the issue of the threads being locked. If not that, then it runs the risk of turning negative fast because most people haven't had time to fully cool off yet and may still hold grudges against other users.

We haven't decided yet if this thread will be allowed in future. If we do choose to allow it then it'll be at a time where we feel that the members can use it in a more pleasant manner.

As for why we're not publicising the exact reasons, this is no different to how we treat any issue. We don't publicise when a user gets a warning or a ban, and if we delete content then assume it's because it's inappropriate. We don't look to publicly shame and tarnish anyone's reputations; we keep everything private - and if you were on the receiving end then I would hope that you would appreciate that.

Do not attempt to try to re-create the thread or search for "loopholes", right now we will just continue to close them.
