I do feel like the prizes were fine, - though really I think they should be customisable (like gold, silver, bronze, then coloured like the orginal tiger butterfly / fossil), and you get differet customised versions each day. Would not take nearly as much work as making a whole set, and mean you can just play once and have everything if you customise, but it's a little something more if you do complete it multiple days.
The thing that really disappointed me though was;
1) Nothing for the art gallery? Even though it was already added.
2) Happy Museum Day. Happy datamine showing lots of museum upgrades. Happy none of this correlates??? Nintendo we haven't had any updates in weeks and people are getting vocally bored of the forced slower pace than NL. Then you conveniently have an event for the building you have a load of content planned for... Why wasn't this tied in??
all the ideas here are so much more fun than the plaques we actually got ;; i think the most disappointing aspect was the lack of replayability; no one wants 7 of the same plaque! there are so many cute museum items we could've gotten alongside the plaques and the whole thing just feels very lackluster overall
I’d like to be a bit shorter and have different prizes each day. On the last day, it would’ve been cool to get some really cool, exclusive item for doing the rally each day.
I quite liked the prize, however think it would have been nice to perhaps get different variations of it every day! Such as one being silver, and other being gold. I think that having the art exhibit to have taken part in it would have been nice as well.
The plaques are fine I guess? Honestly I would had rather the event been one maybe two days long. It got annoying hearing Blathers blather about the event. I was one and done with that event. So lackluster.
Little model decorations, like dioramas, maybe cute little cages/tanks that you can store bugs and fish to display them if you didn't want to use the default one. For the bugs one, how about a planter with fluttering butterflies? For the fossils, how about dinosaur models? Or even a fossil model without the stand? For the fish, maybe a cute little fish bowl. Anything could have been better than just the plaques Like.. the plaques were alright, but they weren't special at all.
More items from the museum. This event was such a missed opportunity. I'm really not sure what they were thinking to even put effort into making it to be blunt lol.
The art gallery only gets added once you reach a certain amount of donations. I think Nintendo wanted everyone to be able to complete everything. There will probably be a future event to a gallery plaque.
As for what prizes I would've liked to see, maybe a book with information about each of the museum's exhibits? Instead of daily cards, we could have stamped the blank pages of the book, eventually filling it in by the event's end.
I have to agree with others. Wish the rewards were more than just plaques. Museum merch such as posters, apparel, and miniatures (not the model) would be cool.
after seeing the furniture we could get from the wedding set, plus new fishes and bugs and summer shell diy, i'm actually glad we got the rest last week lol
but yeah, could have had better rewards imo. i would love some merch!
Personally I quite liked the items we got, they are neat things to hang on the doors or walls in my house which is nice.
What I agree on is that it really sucks how you only get those same items when the event has lasted a few weeks. We didn't even get the art gallery room wall hanger thing!!
I would have loved to see a little furniture set like you mentioned, with a bed, table, chairs, partition, end table, baskets etc with themed stuff from the Museum! or maybe owl themed items would be cool with feathers or texture on it would be pretty neat! I would not want it to be a random chance thing though as we would get each piece exclusive to that day to make us want to keep coming back, this would make for some nice trading if it was randomized too though so its a hard call but I'd rather just get it then and there ;p
