I want to change my town name and theme and layout, but have 5 dreamies already, what should I do

If you have your uchi and smug dreamies, you can villager reset for them. You also can for an additional personality. Plus, you can try to reset towns until you get a dreamy. I'd say go for it, you'll probably end up regretting it in the long run if you don't reset, and have a bad map with all of your dreamies.

Chances are that if you want a different layout but keep playing, you'll eventually reset. I'd have someone hold your dreamies and reset before you make anymore progress.
