What would happen if i started a new island on april 1st?

I'm hoping to atleast be able to get the cherry blossom diys and do that whole thing again cause that was super fun! But also wondering about leif and that whole situation with the update!

My guess is that you wont have to wait for Leif or Redd since you already have the current version when you buy the game. Im not sure in the future if events like Bunny Day will get patched out/ replaced with other holidays to help with TTing or they leave it in for good. Very interesting to think about.. if you do let me know! c:

I restarted my island about a week ago! It's not the same as April First but I had to move over certain items but i automatically got leif (i had updated it on my old file)
