What will you do after you complete all your "dreamies"? Will you keep them forever?

I've completed mine and I'll definitely be keeping hold of them for as long as I can ~ I worked so hard to get them so why should I get rid of them? Plus the point of me having dreamies was so that I didn't have new villagers crushing my flowers and path :3

I plan to keep a couple of my dogs but, I wanna get all there pictures and then let most of them go. In my main town I never use april 1st to get pictures (unless there being super stubborn).

I achieved my dream village. And then it got boring really fast, so i started letting them go. My new quest is to meet all 333 villagers, and it's been fun. I'm not so paranoid about skipping a day or where houses land. Now having said that, I'm not obsessed with landscaping, so there are no paths, random flowers everywhere, my town is a wild jungle, so villagers moving in and out has not been a problem for me.

When one tries to move out, before I hit "no, please staaay!", I tend to say "You're here forever, where are you going?... Like they're in jail! 8D

I only have a few dreamies. I plan to keep them, and cycle out my other villagers to keep things fresh. :)

I've completed my dreamies, tbh, but that was months ago aside from Bianca, whom I just got recently. I think having dreamies is nice, but it really does get sort of boring after half a year or more. I think I'll let them all go eventually, though, some sooner than others to meet other potential would be dreamies. Sometimes animals you never expected to be a dreamie becomes a dreamie.

Heh, I'll probably never get all of them in the first place ._. But even if I do, I feel like I'll eventually want to see some new faces. I think once I actually have them I'll find that there are some I just won't get as attached to or something. There are only a few certain villagers that I will NEVER allow to leave under any circumstances (I'm looking at you, Poppy-who-tried-to-move-yesterday >__>)

This is very true..
ill obviously keep the core food dreamies forever eg Tangy, Zucker, Frita, Merengue, Chadder
but theres other villagers with food names i could try, though ill obviously keep the main 10 for months/up to a year

Just finished my main towns dreamies and now I can decorate my town the way I want, paths , pwp, etc :)

Don't have many dreamies. Right now I have two (Kiki and Maple) and MAYBE Rocco. I'll make room for them and keep them permanently.

I'll allow the rest of my neighbors to stay for as long as they want. Not sure about Bertha, Hazel and Rosie. I plan to choose either Bertha or Rosie to stay forever. Hazel I'll probably have to let go of...

I have a LOOOONG way to go before I could complete my list, but I would probably move a couple out eventually, just to mix things up. Keeping my select favorites, of course.

I currently have 3 of my 5 dreamies, Ankha, Merry, and Marina they will never move. My other two dreamies Merengue and Lily have yet to move in yet but when they do they won't be leaving either. So I have five slots to see and meet new villagers. So it shouldn't get to boring.

Once I have all 30~ dreamies none of them are leaving unless I'm desperate for someone else.

Or I'll just get a fourth copy to house the rest :]

No one is allowed to leave.

I have two NL games, luckily, so on my "main" game, I'm keeping everyone. On the other one, I plan to cycle around happily for all eternity so that I can experience having other villagers. Best of both worlds, IMO!

Oooh thats a good plan.. sort of what my mum is trying to do
have like 5/6 permies

OP's philosophy is the same I have! I've had quite a few dreamies in and out in my time playing, and while I value their time, I'd really only keep villagers whose personalities appeal to me (T-Bone and Lolly). I think questing for new villagers is part of the point of the game, and the reason I may never stop playing. Ever.

I think I'm going to stick to all my villagers for now ;-; I do get attached to them easily, and now I have a dilemma, peanut or chrissy. :c ahhh
