Current idea I have to put up a small souvenir stall filled with my island merch. The cutout standee, fan, and flag will be great for this. But then again, I don't play with anyone (except when I trade), and barely anyone visits my dream island anyway so this might just end up as a concept.
Mostly for more pathing ideas and to add more curves to them. I'll also use them for more standee signs for sure around my island to mark areas. It's pretty awesome that Nintendo decided to add a full 50 slots though. I figured they'd just add 20 or so.
Yessss. I have way too many slots used up for pathing and ground details. I would love to have more fabrics to use on blankets and cushions. I also don’t decorate with simple panels since I don’t have the space but now I can experiment with some cute bakery shelves!
I think I'm literally going to have 50 different fans and just fan myself like the sassy monster I am all the time.
And I am most definitely going to find the most absurd path that has the most pieces possible to it and drive myself absolutely bonkers trying to lay it out in a random but planned way.

The Path
i really wanted to have nice natural path but somehow all my slots were taken up with the one brick path i do have? plus some flower patches and small stuff. i don't even have any clothing designs saved; i'm at a loss as to how i'm only down to 4 open slots LOL

Nothing, honestly. I've barely used the custom design slots I already have, lol, and I can't foresee that changing even with the added slots. Still, I'm happy they're including more slots, since it's good that there's more slots for people to use on their islands (even if I won't use them, lol).

I think I'll probably use the extra spaces for maybe a nine piece pond design, or perhaps another nine-piece design for pathway for my western area!
The first thing I'll do is make a clear pattern and place it around my flowers. No more dreading the rain or snow. I get tired of digging up 2 pockets of unwanted flowers after it rains. I did this a while back and loved it. Unfortunately, I needed a pattern slot, so I got rid of it.
Probably stuff for the standees. Those can be a bunch of fun.
I would do a custom path but i dont like the lines or lag issues that come with them nor the easy erasing.
I will probably use some desings for nature stuff.. Like footprints or geckos.
Id also imagine the 50 slots are 25 designs and 25 clothing... Or maybe it is only 50 for the new stuff (fan umbrella standee ect)

Oof, so many things...
I have being wanting these wooden path plank things for a while now, but didn't have the space to get them.
Also in need of some more designs for the simple panels, because I use those all over my island, but I currently only have 2 designs for them, and it's getting a little repetitive.
And of course, I need to make sure I have some designs for the new standees. Those things were one of my favourite things to customize back in New Leaf.
Oh and lots of little flowers because there are so many cute ones that would match my island theme.
I might even be crazy and get another version of 'the path' that takes up 9 slots. Just because there is another one I have had my eye on, so why not have both.
