What were the worst injuries you have ever had? How did they occur and what were the outcomes?

My list:

Sprained Wrist (4th Grade)- It was a long time ago, but I still remember it. I was playing soccer and me and a kid from the other team (I should mention that he was quite large) and I were going for a 50/50 ball. He knocks me over, then procedes to fall onto my arm, spraining it. The worst part of it was that he was hurt too, so this fat child was sitting on my sprained wrist, making it even more painful.

Broken Arm/wrist (5th Grade)- I tripped in the street outside of my house while running to get a ball. My neighbors laughed at me because they thought I was faking it, but it turned out to be so bad that I needed surgery. It didn't break the skin, but the bone was misplaced and was sticking up a few inched right by my wrist.

Broken Arm/wrist (5th Grade)- Yes, I broke the same arm, in the same place, in the same grade. Luckily, this one wasn't nearly as bad. I walked home, never shed a tear and only wore a cast for four weeks as opposed to sobbing in the middle of the street and spending six weeks in a cast that didn't let me move my elbow.

Sprained Ankle (6th Grade)- The day after Christmas, I was putting a present in my room. I ran down the steps, as usual, but this time I fell down the entire flight of steps. The sprain was bad enough that I needed a cast and crutches for a few days.

Concussion (7th grade)- The first week of school, my soccer team had a tournament. During the first game, I had a breakaway. I shot (and scored, of course) then peeled away from the goal to run back to our half. Problem was, I didn't go far enough and I ended up running head-first into the post. I was knocked-out for a minute or so, but I didn't have any permanent damage or memory loss.

Sprained Ankle (9th Grade-This year)- During a practice for my high school's Freshman soccer team, we were playing a friendly game with our team. I had just crossed a ball and my worst enemy, Mike Novello (I've never understood why, but he has always hated me) slide tackles me from behind (which would be an automatic red card in a real game). The initial injury wasn't so bad, so I went back on a few minutes later. That's when I tweaked something that made it hurt so badly that I couldn't even lightly touch it to the ground without it being extremely painful. I was on crutches for a week.

You seem fairly injury-prone...

Luckily, I have never broken a bone in my body, and never plan to.
The worst thing I can think of is either wipeouts on my bicycle when I was 6 or around then (skinned knee/elbow, etc. nothing bad) or a time (I think it was 6th grade) when I was working on a model for 4-H and I was cutting out a part with an exacto knife and it slipped and I cut my left index finger. I bled for a little, but I do have a scar from it.

When I was eight, I was on my bike. Then a bully quickly walks by and sticks a stick into the wheel of my bike *runs off* and I stopped and fell, hit my forehead of the edge of the end of a wall and split my head open. I had an operation to put all the bone back together.

My worst injuries:

Sprained wrist in 5th grade. I was playing on the jungle gym, then my hand was slippery and my hand released (from sweat), but my shoe was stuck in part of the jungle gym so i was hanging upside down, then my shoe came off then i landed on my arm.

Injured head: I was lying down and then a box fell on my head. (this might be really disturbing) I was bleeding a lot and i had to get a big towel and i was bleeding so much i felt like i was gonna die D: And i ended up with a bump on my head for about a month.

Sprained nose (if thats possible): I was walking in the hallway in 6th grade then people were playing around and someone pushed this girl and i was behind the girl and she bumped into me and my nose hit the locker. I had to put ice on it. :|

@ Keenan: Wow so many injuries ._. i just hope you stay safe enough to survive...
@ Ryusaki: How did the bully feel after he found out what happend?

I'm not sure what my worst injury was... I'm over careful these days so i never get hurt.

I do remember one time when i was 7 or 8 my older brother was jumping on a trampoline and i went under it to get mt shoes then he jumped on my head ( by accident ) and i got all dizzy and nauseous and i had a headache for the rest of the day

1989: Found out that I was legally blood in my left eye.
1990: Rug burn from falling downstairs.
1991: Nearly broke my ankle.
1993: Ended up in hospital over a deep cut in my left hand.
1995: 27 planters warts removed from my feet.
1997: Sprained my back.
2000: Sprained wrist and knee.
2003: Fell in Wendy's parking lot and went to hospital over nearly broken wrist and ankle.
2007: Fell off a waterslide at a park because someone at the amusement didn't notice there was a piece missing from the slide. Was lucky to limp away with only major sprains.
2011: Found out that I have a .35mm tumor in my pituitary gland.
2012: No injuries so far.

When I was 3 or 4. Fell off the bed and cracked my head open. When I was 9, I fell in the garage playing hide and seek and got a deep cut in my right hand. Cant feel anything where the scar is. It also hurts when Voldemort is around.

@MDofDarkheart: How does someone not notice a missing part of a waterslide? Did you sue?

@Brad: When I was one, I fell on the corner of a sandbox and cracked my head open. It took so long for me to get help that the pain had gone away and I was laughing and eating a banana by the time the doctor came. Besides a small slice from a pocketknife a few years ago, I haven't had many serious cuts.

I've had a nail go through my arm when I was a toddler. I broke my left collar bone, both of my pinkie fingers and my left ring finger. Multiple smallish burns on my right arm, and both of my hands have lots of little scars from random things.

First would be when I was 15, I was trying to catch a dodgeball going fast as hell, and it caught my thumb, twisting it around completely backwards and breaking it in one place.

Next, the same year, tried to catch a line drive in kickball, it hit my left middle finger head on and shattered the first knuckle into three pieces. I had to have surgery to get two long pins put in all the way down to the middle knuckle to fuse the pieces and to keep my finger immobile.

When I was 12, I was rollerskating and tripped on something on the floor, fell hard on my arm and broke it. I had to wait 2 hours for my folks to pick me up, because they were out having dinner.

When I was 17, I was being a goof in school, and in some hallways there were doors with magnetic locks, and the magnet was hanging down in the doorway. So, I was hopping up and down the hall and smacked my head on the magnet, split my scalp and had to have 12 staples put in.

When I was 21, I was eating at this Mexican restaurant, and my foot got wedged between the table and another chair, and I got up fast to get a drink and twisted my leg and tore a ligament in my knee. It still bothers me sometimes.

Last year, I fell down the stairs, twisting that same leg behind me and falling straight on my tailbone, and cracked one of my vertebrae.

Oh, I almost forgot. When I was 3, I slept my first night on the top bunk of a bunk bed...I rolled off it in the middle of the night and landed face first on a hard concrete floor. My face was all kinds of busted up.

9: Dislocated jaw, concussion, blood loss.
9: Scarlet fever *Counts as injury, look it up*
10: Broken nose, implanted my face into a hubcap after falling off my scooter
10: Twisted ankle (180 degree angle) Speedskating accident
11: Concussion, hit my head on the corner of a sidewalk curb falling off my bike
12: Grazed by bullet walking home from school
12: Rabbit bite through my thumb, infected to the point of possible amputation.
13: Rabbit bite through my arm. Required rabies vaccines.
14: Various Skunk bites through my wrists that required stitches.
14: Fell down a flight of concrete stairs
14: Twisted my knee at a 180 degree angle slipping on concrete
14: Shaved the bottom of my foot off on a jagged piece of metal
14: Had a solid-wood microwave stand door slam down on my head by the brass handle. Concussion
14: Frostbite
15: Foot run over by a ford explorer
15: Scarlet Fever
15: Dropped a table on my foot, broken toe
16: Seizure at work
16: Again, Seizure that led to hospitalization
16: Foot run over by 4 door sedan
17: Slammed head on window in bus accident
19: Frostbite
19: Kicked roommate in shin, caused some major damage to my own shin.
20: Nothing yet, thank god.

Also I've had nails and screws go into the heels of my feet multiple times.

It's so hard reading you guys posts without shedding a tear or shouting! i hope you people stay safe!

When i was 13 i was sitting on my bed (I have a bunk bed with muh bro) and my brother's rail came loose then fell off and busted my elbow.

When i was 4 or 5 one of my brothers were pretending to play fear factor and i joined in, I fell and hit my then i passed out :p

At 14 i got a virus that lasted 6 - 7 months Feb - Aug (not sure if that counts as an injury) that basically made my summer... -_-

Other than those i haven't been hurt like you guys.

Yikes, so many injuries~ I feel like a real shut in for hardly having anything happen to me so bad. Lets see... I've sprained my right ankle twice. Once was in middle school, other was in high school.

Last year in January I developed some sort of stomach ulcer and along with it (not sure if related, I was drugged up most of the time) I was very very sick for three weeks. I couldn't go a day without puking at least twice. It was so awful, lol. I had to stop conversations often with my family because I felt the urge to throw up, always did too so no false alarms at least?

Then this year in January I fell on some ice and cut my hand pretty badly, tore off all the skin I could see. After a long healing process there is now I small dent in my skin where it got cut/scraped. Its also more sensitive in that area, lol.

Walking through lantana, there was some sort of incident and I heard the gun go off, registered my leg was burning, and didn't really realize what had happened until after I had walked halfway home (3 miles). It wasn't really that BAD of an injury, but it tore at the side of my leg and all I could feel was how much the gunpowder stung.
