Well.... My sister got Wild World first, and let me make a character on there, and I got hooked. But the first game I owned was Gamecube, so I put that. Then I got Wild World myself.

Dobitsu no Mori came before the gamecube one though, so its possible that it may have been someones first animal crossing, before the gamecube one was even out in america.

Yeah, I first got mine in Target. Gamecube.
The game was so old by then that it had a player's choice tag on it.
I still loved it to death, though.
