What was the worst thing that a villager has done to you?

What was something that one of your villagers did to you that made you hate them? Random move ins of villagers you hate? Them painting your roof WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION in the OG Animal Crossing? Nasty insults? Insulting gifts? Forced client in Happy Home Paradise? A villager moving their home onto something you worked hard on? Forced first campsite villager?

Any Animal Crossing games are fine. This isn’t exclusive to New Horizons.

Personally, I’ve never had any bad experiences with my villagers. But it did annoy me when Apple gave me a garbage can as a thank you gift. On my second island that I haven’t played on for over a year, Friga was a random move in. I’ve never forgiven her for moving to that island…
I also hate Monique. Her look gave me nightmares.

It doesn't really count as a villager, but Isabelle.

On my last island, she kept saying "More flowers" I was trying to get 5 stars, so I added more flowers. She said more and more, and I added more and more. I was at 4 stars then, next time I talked to her I had 3 stars.
What did I do wrong? I wonder, Isabelle tells me, I have too many flowers.

I gave up at that point, I didn't care about poor Oak Villa. I only played on that island to hang out with online friends.

I've killed that island, and created Zimra, I FINALLY got 5 stars, after she pulled her crap on me again.

Oh, and Elise, I hate her because:
1. she looks like my Nana,
2. She was always hateful to me.

Oh gosh. As far as previous AC games I had no complaints until New Leaf! I love the older dialogue and found their rude comments to be funny and charming. In New Leaf Isabelle was the worst with putting stuff in your town. She was so annoying with it like sorry we can’t put this light pole here because 500 blocks away from a bench…. Like girl just pot the stinkin street light where I tell you to!!

New Horizons is usually just the villagers giving horrible gifts or wearing ridiculous clothes. Or when you gift them something then they give it back to you! Like don’t regift me the gift I gave you!!

I accidentally gave one a fossil and I was so grateful when we could redesign their homes so I could get rid of it lol it was such an eyesore!

Like in Stardew when your spouse changes the wallpaper or puts some ugly chair in the middle of the walkway lol stopppppp!

She’s not a villager, but I really don’t like how Isabelle is so obsessed with your island’s rating. Who cares what she rates my island if I’m happy with it? /rh

The worst thing a islander has done to me was walk super slow when I was running down a path that had bushes and tress either side so I couldn't go around them and then they decided to sit down blocking me

I was trying to run down to the bottom of my island to greet a friend that was coming over to see and visit my island.

• Slow animals when I'm in a rush (I'm not pushing to make them angry)
• Getting a moldy shirt from my favorites in NL (I found it funny)
• Not wearing the clothes I gave them
• And asking for the stuff i was planning to use.

back in the wild world days (might’ve been city folk idk), i wrote a love letter to egbert and he SHOWED THE LETTER TO MY SISTER. smh
we were soooo done after that

I started playing in New Horizons. Hearing about how much livelier villager conversation used to be makes me hope it will be reintroduced in a later game!
(I got New Leaf very briefly because I couldn’t wait for New Horizons but it was a few weeks if that much).

I thought I didn’t have any issues with villagers since in ACNH they’re pretty bland. But I may have!

• The clothes they gift are almost always terrible!!
• Asking about bugs or fish, which imo hardly ever looks good in the house
• Not their fault, but the starter villagers unfinished homes, ugh
• The song they sing when there’s no radio nearby, they need lessons real bad

Most recently I met a 19yo boy who’s not very literate and is all about the gym.
Tank is my starter Jock and I just realized talking to Tank is like talking to him and now I’m annoyed with Jock villagers

My villagers are usually nice, too nice...like talking to me when I'm hitting a rock and making me miss bags of money, talking to me when I'm trying to pop up a balloon making me miss my balloon, talking to me when I'm in a middle of a fishing tournament making me miss my 3+ fish. Entering my home when I'm just there to pick up something.

All the lazies talking about bugs or mentioning things likes spilling drinks or food on the letter they write me. The bug talk bothers me a lot and the food and drink spills kinda bother my OCD even without visuals.

I still haven't forgiven Kid Cat for telling my friend what my favorite book is xD When I let her play my game, he brought it up in a conversation.

I wish he said anything else.

In my gamecube town, either Bluebear or Maple (I forget which, but one I will need to say sorry to), took my fossil I planned to donate to Blathers. In this game, when talking to villagers, sometimes they can just take whatever they like from your pockets, and then they say like, don't feel bad, this stuff just happens!!
I still remember it was one of the left or right right of the dinosaur...

Boris has also wronged me by lying; he said he was gonna move but never left.

I believe in Wild World, Limberg was just so mean to me, like always shouted at me I think?

In New Leaf, Opal did me wrong just by existing.
She also moved her house super close to mine, and was just overall really mean. I didn't like her attitude.
Also, Lyman did me wrong, he was like my crush back then, and as I was showing a friend of mine Animal Crossing, I walked into his house to show her and we're both looking at packed up boxes. He was trying to leave while I was trying to show my friend the good sides of the game - she's really picky on games due to her beliefs - and here Lyman was, getting me upset because he was ready to leave.
Also Carmen, for staying far too long in my town that it made me just groan if I ever see her again.

There's not much when it comes to New Horizons, you can literally avoid drama here. But that's no fun.
I would say though, when they sit down in an area you're trying to terraform is fustrating. Or even fishing while terraforming.

Also wanted to add Isabelle in New Leaf when you're trying to place something down, and it doesn't fit her requirements for where it should go.
Like, please, as Mayor I should have more say here.
