Considering how the normals have dialogue that expresses a lot of my anxiety like being worried about friends not enjoying themselves at their house or being a burden. Though my anxiety doesn’t define me even though I have severe anxiety and major depression. So, if personalities in AC weren’t gender exclusive, I’d be a lazy.
If there were other personalities, I’d say I’m be loner/shut in. I’m extremely shy and always had difficulty interacting with others (still need to be tested for asperger’s).
i’m gonna pretend that personalities aren't gender-locked for a sec lol but i’d definitely be a mix of both lazy and cranky with how much i like food and relaxing and how often i say that i’m old and/or that my joints hurt. but @Dunquixote’s response actually made me realize that i’m a bit like the normal villagers as well - i can definitely relate to their anxieties about not being a good host to their guests (hence why i’ve yet to hang out with anyone on my island ) or just being a burden in general but i can also relate to how they want those they care about to be okay and taking care of themselves and how much they enjoy reading, too. :’)
I can relate to all three of these personalities quite well, which might explain why they are my three favourites.
Cranky- Because I'm always sore and im going grey. I'm also usually grumpy after work. Lazy- I do have a very strong relationship with food, and wanting to just sit around and do nothing- Basically be a sloth. Normal- I like to think I'm quite friendly and nice like the normals are, and I worry about a lot of random little things quite a lot.
normal by far. lots of anxiety, things being organized, i try to get along with most people, and just general shy/withdrawn vibes tbh. i kinda wish i was more like a sisterly but that's just not happening lol.
I think I'd be a mix of normal, lazy, and cranky. It really is too bad the personalities are gender locked. The next time an ACNH game comes out, maybe the developers will fix that and hopefully also have some nonbinary characters.
On first glance I'm probably a normal, but otherwise I think I'm also a mix of lazy/cranky. I too like complaining, and every once in a while my dialogue is off just enough to be funny (no but seriously cranky villagers crack me up the most after smugs ).
It's funny seeing how many of us are this exact combination lol
A mix between cranky, lazy and normal I think. I'm not as binary as the characters shown in the game lol. However, sometimes, I'm totally peppy, when I'm having fun or talking with people I like. I speak high.
But I love complaining, I'm stupidly lazy and love sleeping and eating (but hate bugs), love reading but I'm not as cute as normal villagers could be.
I figure that I would probably be either Normal or Sisterly. If we're doing away with the gender lock on the personalities and/or combining them, throw in a bit of Cranky too for good measure.
I think I am the most like the normals. I’m shy and often anxious, especially socially, but generally cheerful and friendly. I like reading, baking, writing poetry, knitting and sewing. I am not very fashionable or cool. I’m not athletic and I like staying home more than going out (I refer to it as being an indoor person).
I do think I am have a bit of the peppy personality, in that I am very passionate and tend to have a lot of dreams and overflowing enthusiasm form my interests and the things and people I love.
But I really really would never want to be a pop star or celebrity.
Originally I'd probably say a mix of normal and lazy, but now that I think about I'm probably more Uchi/Sisterly.
As I'm caring, like to help others, as well as pretty tomboyish. I also often stay up late into the night and don't like to wake up too early just like the Uchi villagers.
