What underrated villagers should I invite to my island?

Ozzie! I'm not sure how popular he is, but he's def one of the villagers I didn't really pay attention to before having him on my island. I found Ozzie and decided to invite him on a whim, and now he's become one of my favorites! He's really sweet!

Midge or Freya. They don't get as much love as they should imo.

Midge is super cute, she is the only bird villager that I actually like

Also going to mention Caroline! She's super sweet, I love watching her sing along to music!

Also going to say Plucky! Both her design and house go really well with the island theme, She's one of the few uchi villagers that I really like

Del, he's super underrated and a great choice for a Cranky villager.

O'Hare! He's so underrated that it hurts. He's one of the cutest smug villagers ever. He is extremely special to me, he's very sweet, my first best friend and the first one to give me his picture in both new leaf and new horizons, and he was always there for me when I needed him. He is my all time favorite villager and i love him so much<3

moe and tom! i had them both in my new leaf town and they were such sweethearts. i lowkey regretted letting them move out but they’re great company to have!

hazel and katt,, i know they aren’t your typical adorable 10/10 design villagers but they’re still great. plus, hazel says “uni-wow” and it really just doesn’t get better than that.

bertha and julia!! i know everybody tends to avoid bertha because she’s a hippo but in my honest opinion, she’s the only good looking hippo. and while i haven’t seen anyone hate on julia, i don’t see her get talked about all that much and she’s great! i’ve got them both on my island and i’ll be sad when i gotta say goodbye to them. also, julia’s house interior is gorgeous

also please consider gayle,,,, she’s literally a pink alligator with a heart on her head. she’s a cutie and she deserves more love <33

Ahhh she was a permanent resident in my New Leaf town! She's gotten a lot more popular with the release of NH and I'm so happy about it! IT'S WHAT SHE DESERVES.

I really love Bea and Gabi. I feel like Bea's been rising in popularity somewhat, but Gabi doesn't seem to get much attention. That little face is so cute!

all of my dreamies that i've acquired lol. sherb is the sweetest and is my bday buddy (makes him extra special), bella is the most adorable little metalhead, dobie is such a kind old man, rod's a cute little pirate mouse, colton has the personality of prince-who-thinks-he's-charming and looks the part as well, tasha is a mature woman with an AMAZING interior.

i'd also like to recommend some of my new leaf villagers. i LOVE mint, o'hare, and doc. i also really liked freckles, cherry, curt, portia, peaches, and octavian seemed really cool for the day that i had him in my town before new horizons released.

I love Blanche so much! But I think I have this weird complex where pretty/elegant characters make me feel intimidated. Like, not scared but as if I'm not good enough to have them on my island! :')
