I really need a great towntheme. I was thinking of:
Nature- Lots of flowers, trees, bushes, bamboo areas, etc.
Cute- Pink, hybrids, lots of pwp's, super cute paths, etc
Food- Sweets path, food villagers, cute, etc.
Sea- Blue paths, blue flowers, sea/blue villagers, etc.

Or do you have any ideas?

I'm going with a nature theme myself. It goes well with the avian villagers I'm collecting.
Plus I think this theme fits really well for all seasons.

If I had to pick a theme, I'd choose the sea/water theme. All of the cute and food towns I've been to look pretty much the same, so eh.

My theme is kind of nature, calm, quiet, with a little bit of fairy-tale... yeah I don't really have a theme.
If you really want one for your town, how about a "Hollywood themed town"? With the western set and all, and you could make a house look like a cinema, with lots of rooms and different movies. The mannequins could be the actors...

But food and sea sure sound great

I see cutesy towns and food towns way too often. Nature sounds nice, a sea-themed town sounds interesting, or could I suggest an outer-space theme? That's something I've always wanted to try.

I love pink (like, love it a lot) and sweets themed towns, but nature towns usually look a bit better imo.
I think a sea theme might be kinda difficult unless you make your own paths, honestly. I don't see too many decent looking blue paths.

For sea you wouldn't necessarily have to have blue paths. I'd suggest lining your paths with something like these and find a path to match

Spoiler: Some QRs you could use

I'd also suggest throwing some orange/yellow/pink flowers into the mix to add some contrast to the blue and still fit the theme.

I voted sea myself. I think it would be really pretty and, as others have said, unique.

I voted sea, because it's something that I've never really seen done before. I think it would be awesome and stand out amongst the other over done town themes. I mean, they're all beautiful, though. It amazes me how much time people put into their towns to make them so beautiful. I have yet to accomplish such a task. Nonetheless, I vote sea

Pretty much this. Not to knock cute/sweet/food towns, I mean, they are neat. But I'd prefer to see some other lesser used themes. I think the Sea/Water theme is really nice!
