~What should my two other houses be?~

So I plan on themes with all my save file characters homes. I will have my house (Mayor) as just a general house with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, spoopy basement, ect. My other home will be a cafe type home. But right now I'm struggling to think of themes for the other two houses. I might have one be a camper/fisher and the other a school. Or maybe even a library or bank.

So, all suggestions are very welcome =)​

a library would be nice. you could also have a house with a bunch of instruments in it, since there's so many instrument items. i tried to have an instrument room but there just isn't room for all of them

Ooh, I like that idea~! I wrote it down in my little book besides me. (I use it to keep track on what the villagers want me to do for them since I hop on a off the game between work.)​

A school would be really fun, and easy to do since there are a lot of different classes you could do, you could make the basement a gymnasium, and have a normal classroom with the giant two part chalkboard at the front and bunch of desks, you could do a science classroom with a bunch of the bugs in it and microscopes and beakers and stuff at the tables, and maybe a kindergarten with the kiddie floor and toys and books, and you can make the library a room as well! That's 5 of the rooms right there! I think you could probably also do the entrance as either a hallway or the office/teacher's lounge, I like the hallways idea better, you can do cubbies and lockers and maybe signs with "room numbers/titles" next to the entries of each of the classes. Oh! You could even do an art class if you didn't like of of those ideas, with easels with custom partially done artworks on them and you can have a display stand with like fruit on it for the students to be drawing, and have like some of the artworks and sculptures in the classroom as well! =D There's really a ton of options for a school... YOU COULD EVEN DO A MUSIC ROOM OMG! I keep thinking of more things that would fit in a school, someone stop me!

How about a nature themed house, with lots of plants and flowers in every room? The modern wood series
or the cabana series would fit in combination with plants. One room could also be full of different fishes or
bugs.

What I also could think of is a seasons themed house, where every room resembles a other season. Like
one for winter, one for summer and so on.

A little hotel or restaurant would also be a nice option.

As for the school room ideas, thank you! I wrote them all down. I was homeschooled so not really sure how classes work xD​

That's actually really neat. Basically all the subjects have different classes tailored to what is being taught, at least in Middle and Highschool, grade school was more so everything in one class. I know that schools are popular in ACNL so it wouldn't be hard to find some inspiration for them if you're having a hard time imagining how to build them out.

I think another cute idea would be a little market/mall depending on what you'd want to "sell" there. You could incorporate the cafe as one of the rooms, and then maybe do a flower shop, a clothing store, a toy shop would be cute since there are so many toy options in game!

What if you have a house of all of the holiday items? Like an Easter room, Harvest room, Spooky or creepy room, and the Christmas, ice series. You could also make one for amiibo or other update items. I am currently making a Zelda themed house since the amiibo added a bunch of new Zelda outfits and furniture.
