My friend got Animal crossing a month ago and hasn't played it yet because she doesn't know what she should name her town x) She wants something deep and warm, so if you got any idea's let me know

I like the idea because I'm hungry, but knowing my friend she'd probably want something deeper :/ But thanks for the ideaHow about Atole? It's a thick hot drink, and you can add chocolate to it!![]()
She's really picky so I don't think she would name it after something personal anyways and she gets emotionally attached easily so I don't think she would resetBe careful about naming it after real life stuff (i.e. friends, pets, locations, etc.) because her relationship to that name could stir up bad emotions about the game later on. That is, especially if she doesn't leave open the option to restart down the road.
I like Dystopia and congratulationsI named my town as a joke, Dystopia, I thought it would be ironic to create my perfect town (gained perfect town a week ago, woohoo!) and I didn't expect to play the game very long.
Anyway, the point is I'm still playing 2 months later so I don't recommend picking an ironic/funny name in case she gets sick of it! Although I quite like my name now but I do feel a little odd about it now I'm on these forums.

We're very similar, so I guess sleeping, the hunger games, New York and mysteriesThat's good. What kinds of things does she like? Maybe she could find similar words in other languages (like Spanish or French) for some of those things...or name it after places she would like to go.
For me personally, once I started playing in my town I didn't even think about my town name because I was so busy doing other stuff in the game![]()
Tell her to go a random town name generator and pick one she likes. She's wasting time
I don't know, but good luck finding a good name.![]()
Something deep and warm?
How about Comfort? Other than the feelings of comfort it's also like a bed comforter (since she likes sleeping, you said). Also, lots of towns in real life are named for old forts.
I like a lot of them myself, so she'll probably like them tooI have had twelve towns so far (since June, 2013), and I love naming them. So far I have had (in order):
1. Auvergne
2. Illusion
3. Anglesey
4. Solaria
5. Heaven
6. Moonsea
7. Moonbeam
8. Oceania
9. Destiny
10. Pleiades
11. Seaside
12. Raindrop
If she likes any of those names, she is welcome to use them.![]()
For warm, how about Ignis, Tepia or Hearth? Sorry if they're not the best names; I tried to come up with something fire-related.
They're goodBut she wants something more meaningful

Crimson? ;y;
Sorry about that. My name-creating skills are... lacking.
