I'm planning to reset my town but I want to keep my villagers. I ordered amiibo cards to hope maybe some of my villagers will be in there but I'm not too sure,if they are then I will keep ordering amiibo cards until I have all of them.i asked one of my friends to have my villagers in their town so I can then re-create my town, while my villagers are in my friend's town and when my villagers ask to move out,I can come to their town and get them to my town but my friends haven't replied yet. Either way I don't want to lose my villagers.I already have Kiki and Sheldon amiibo cards but I don't think I will be using them in my new town.I also thought maybe I should just keep my town the way it is but I really regret my town's name (it's called candy, I really regret it since it doesn't even have a capital letter and I thought of a much more better name).Actually now that I think about it...I already have some of my villagers amiibo cards.
I think your best bet would be the amibo cards, even if you don't get the villagers you want you can always trade for them in the Post Office here. It would take forever to move each villager over to your friends town and to then move them back to your town. You could probably also find some of your villagers being given away or sold here if you're willing to trade tbt, igb, or items for them. Good luck in any case!

I'm planning to send all my bells and golden tools and my pictures of animals to my friend's town once I get my amiibo cards.
The only problem is..it's Mitzi..I had for so long..she never moved away even when I went off animal crossing for a year..she's like a best friend to me and I'm really attached to her so I'm hoping I will get her amiibo card and if I don't..at least I have her picture to remind me of her and hopefully I might be able to find someone selling Mitzi or giving away Mitzi or maybe I could try to convince my friends to hold Mitzi until she can move to my new town.I actually have two pictures of her (one of becoming best friends and the other on April fools).
Nvm I'm gonna keep my town and buy another animal crossing. Maybe I should make my candy town into a hybrid breeder...then I could sell flowers.I could also trade igb bells tbt but that won't happened until I get my amiibo cards and get my copy of animal crossing.
