What Shops/NPCs would you like to see return?

So it seems that Nintendo are keeping very tight lipped about what is yet to come for this game... With data miners finding not very much at all. So it seems like we'll see most NPCs and shops return through DLC (be it paid or free) - so, what characters and shops would you most like to see added throughout the game's life?

This is not a thread to complain about missing features/etc. - as I personally believe the decision the exclude most NPCs has been to avoid data miners/time travellers finding too much out so early on in the game's life. Anyone under the impression that what we have in the game currently is "everything", just take a look at Pocket Camp! They'll continue to service this game regularly, which will be part of the fun for those that aren't aiming to ~complete~ the game (time travellers/cheaters/etc.).

SO. What would you like to see added?

I personally would love to see Gracie return with a high fashion shop, and Phineas' balloon/pinwheel stand would be a pretty cool addition. Oh and of COURSE, Crazy Redd will have to make an appearance at some point!

I'd definitely like to see Redd, Gracie and Katrina returning. However, I'd like to see them change or add more depth to their characters and what they do. Maybe "luck" could be represented in different ways. I do wanna see Phineas come back with balloons. It was something I really enjoyed from CF. I'd like to see Phylis, Pelly and Pete come back but I don't see how they'd come back, tbh. I can see Pascal returning, for sure, but I don't really care much about him. I DEFINITELY want to see Katie and her mom return. It would be really cool.

NPC's I don't really care much: the alpacas.

Crazy Redd is my favorite special NPC, I hope he and the painting gallery comes back. But I don’t want him to just sell paintings like in NL. Let him sell rare and expensive furniture like in older games as well.
As for Brewster and the gyroids, last I check, data miners did find evidence of them both, so they might actually come back soon.

I just hope paid DLC is never a thing. Especially when it feels like there is lots of features missing from the initial game that are iconic parts to the series. Let’s not have another Game Freak situation.

Redd and Gracie. I'm hoping that between these two the old furniture sets (aside from those that were adapted already) will return. Although Redd only sold art in NL, so I dunno. They need to find someway to bring the sets back.

Kicks, Leif, Label and Gracie having their own store or rooms in some way would be nice. I want more buildings for my island, ideally optional if people didn't want more buildings, or an option to attach it to another store (like accessories to Able's and garden stuff to Nook's store like in NL)
Dream suite function would be cool.
I'd be fine with Katrina and Redd returning with tents again instead of permanent buildings.
I don't mind about the Alpacas being gone but if they returned I would not mind either, the more the merrier.

I miss pretty much most NPCs that have been with us since the original (the pelicans, the police dogs, etc.) but a lot of them would have such minor roles if they returned with the same ones unless they introduce some new major role.

A flower shop that adds new trees, fruit, bushes and flowers to the game with rare chances at hybrid seed bags like in new leaf and a cafe to sit and watch the world go by.

I desperately miss Leif and his gardening shop! I want him to sell me more flowers and plants! I love Brewster and his gyroids, too. And our Badge Walrus <3 The main reason I want the alpacas to return is so they can help me get the colors of the catalogue items!

Leif needs to come and save me from this limited flower seeds hell! I am having a hard time getting roses, mums and lillies. I would love some variety.
Giving Kicks his own shop back would be nice too, because l like him.

My thoughts on paid DLC is that they may treat it something like Pocket Camp. Have something along the lines of ~tickets~ that make gameplay much quicker for a price - but key features such as missing NPCs will be free.

I hope so anyway. I'd rather not turn a £55 game into a £155 game.

I would like to see Brewster and most of all Digby return in New Horizons. I am guessing an update will eventually add in a Cafe with Brewster or maybe something to do with donating to the museum will allow you to get the Cafe, but Digby might not make an appearance since all we have seen of HHA so far is letters and presents.

After popping in to play NL for a little bit, I realize that I miss the cafe, Re-Tail, and the post office more than I thought I did. I also realize that I don't miss the police station at all. I think Kicks should really be an add on to the Able Sisters since they are selling shoes now and that was his entire deal in NL. I also miss Leif and I think he should have his stand-alone shop. I never liked that he got smooshed into Timmy and Tommy's little store after a while and I really miss his basic flower shop.

I want basically everyone to return tbh but Brewster, Katrina and Redd are probably my top 3 as I have a lot of love and nostalgia for them especially. I would also love Reece and Cyrus and the pelicans but realistically I can’t see it happening as their roles have been replaced already ;-;

I want to see Nat and Chip again. I know they're just retired but it kinda feels like they've died in a way. I'd just want them to stop by the resident services center and enlighten us with their old-timey talk.
