What new bugs/fish would you like to see ingame and catchable?

I want whales/dolphins even though they’re not fish.

But, nurse shark, tiger shark (sharks scare me irl but I like the model sharks), mako shark, black tipped shark.

Not sure about fish since all the fish I know (or that i can think of off the top of my head) are in the game already.

Those are some awesome picks. I love sharks and would love to see more, like lemon sharks. I’d like to see more deep sea creatures, like the blob fish and dumbo octopus

I’d like to see a hummingbird moth or a lunar moth.

I want to be able to catch pea puffers. I know there’s an In game puffer fish, but that one is salt water. The one I’m interested is the Pygmy puffers that are freshwater fish

I own some and they are so intelligent and interesting.

i’d also love to be able to catch axolotls,, i know that might be weird with dr.shrunk and all but if i’m capable of catching frogs and octopi while i have lily & zucker on my island, i should be able to catch an axolotl

I want giant squids, that when displayed are in tanks as big as the great white tanks.
ant lions, would look cool as a pet and they could do some cool in game way of finding and catching it

Dolphins are mammals. Highly intelligent ones, so that's problematic. Dolphin villagers living in boat houses on the other hand....


I personally would enjoy catching Wooly Bears (by shaking trees), various Leaf/Plant/Treehoppers, the Lantern Fly again, Giraffe Weevils, Hummingbird Moths, Silk Moths, Mudskippers, Blobfish, Coconut Crabs, Yeti Crabs (for winter) and the Gulper Eel.

Not new but wish they'd bring back pine crickets. I don't see why it was scrapped and tbh it's nice to have another cricket cry in the autumn nights.

AGREED I have 2 axolotls irl and they are amazing creatures, would love axolotls in my game. ( as well as the return of Dr. Shrunk ) one of my axolotls is named after him

I'd love to be able to fish or dive for more deep sea creatures. I find them really fascinating, like real life eldritch abominations.

I really want more moths. There are so many that look really distinctive. I also wish we'd get more spiders instead of just a generic "tarantula" and "spider" because they're really interesting but misunderstood creatures and there are so many possibilities. I know they probably won't because of players who are afraid of spiders but they could always have an option to switch them on/off.

As for fishing, I'd really like more amphibians and deep sea creatures.
