Also caught:

Piranha
Ribbon Eel
Suckerfish
Tilapia

Drone Beetle
Mosquito
Firefly

Saw a single Goliath Beetle in three hours of fishing around the beach. They apparently only appear on coconut trees. I scared it off by mistake. :(

I have that, Rainbow Stag and Gar left for evening critters to catch still.

The whale shark was the first thing I caught today. What a surprise that was! After that, the drone beetle, ribbon eel, suckerfish, tilapia, and arowana. Can't wait for nightfall. I must remember to walk around coconut trees slowly!

Also discovered a new type of weed. It looks like spiky grass.

i only played for about 10 minutes after it turned midnight and caught a ribbon eel, firefly, and goliath beetle

I was busy with decorating today so haven't really been trying to catch anything but saw a finned shadow and ended up getting a great white shark so that was nice.

Every finned fish I catch are suckerfish. It sucks.
How rare are the sharks? Also, do fish bait spawn sharks? I've been trying, no luck.

Well
  • Great white shark
  • Suckerfish
  • Saw shark
  • Whale shark
  • Ribbon eel
  • Arapaima
  • Piranha
  • Arowana
  • Giant snakehead
  • Tilapia
The only bug I caught was the drone beetle, I spent the whole day catching new fish and bugs.

They spawn sharks, I got a whale shark after using bait.

Another question... where do mosquitos spawn? Do you just see them flying around? Do I have to stay still or something?

I noticed the new type of weed too!

I went on briefly this morning before work, and found the drone beetle and the suckerfish (both very easy to catch).

what the hell guys it's been like two minutes
I live in Southeast Asia and it's the evening of June 1st already.

The one I'm having a hard time spawning are the sharks, mosquito, and goliath beetle.

They just fly around. In fact, I was running around aimlessly then it bit me. After circling my island for a while, I saw it flying with the fireflies. I also caught a rainbow stag in the process.

As of this post, it's 8:30pm and all I've seen were dozens of fireflies. I finally managed to catch all available sharks circling my island, but still no luck with the mosquito and the goliath beetle. :/

They are "very small" and hard to see. So you need to keep watch. I encountered three so far. They are also aggressive and will chase after you. They really want to suck your blood.

oh same-ish. I live in the UK and it's midday for me now but I usually can't be bothered to catch critters until at least halfway through the month lol

It's not even 8am where I live yet, and I went and did the wedding event for the day first. I haven't seen any new bugs, and haven't caught any fish yet.
