What Makes A villager your favorite? And whats your dreamies?

I have Julian hes my favorite because hes the only unicorn, he is magical and so nice (gave me the idea for the video screen or was it someone else... )

What makes a villager special to me is if I had close ties to them in the GCN game.

The cuteness and partly the design. Mostly personality though. I wouldn't want Coco if she was a peppy, but since she's normal and cute, I want her. ^o^

Most of my older favs are special because of my love for them in WW. Hugh, Pierce, Savannah, and Marina were my bros back then, since I got their pics. I got Hugh and Pierce back at least, since Marina's hard to come by and I want Julian as my only horse. :3

I'm so happy I'm finally getting Rolf. He was my favorite in GC's Population Growing and has been in every AC game I've ever owned since. (same goes for Poncho). Cranky personalities are my favorite. With new leaf the crankies aren't as cranky so I'm really leaning toward smugs. Eugene and Zell are new villagers I experienced with and they grew on me so quickly. I had Julian for a bit but I didn't get attached like I did with these guys. They're just perfect in every way to me. The way they act, the things they say, their design, conversations they have with me AND with villagers.

Combination of looks and personality, and having them in a past game counts for a ton. It's not like there's that many personalities, lol, so personality isn't much of an answer. So I'd be hugely lying if I just said personality.
I don't really have dreamies, but I'd try my best to hang onto Vesta, Tangy, and Coco if I ever managed to find them on my own. (Two of which I had in other games). But I don't trade or buy or enter giveaways for villagers, so I take what I get. Which is unfortunately a lot of reject villagers from StreetPass, most of the time. xD

My dreamies have a lot to do with appearances. They're either cool or cute, however some I just have special attachments to from previous games.

As for dreamies, my list is way too long since I like A LOT of villagers. My permies are Beau, Rowan, and Rizzo though.

But the two I really want (Kody and Agent S) have different reasons. I had Kody in my WW town, a town which I have kept to this dat, and he was my favourite villager there. Agent S was in my old NL town (along with marshal, but I'm not as attached to him bevause he came in oate, Agent S was there since the beginning) before I reset, when I stupidly thought that I would easily be able to get her back. I still haven't managed to get her back after several months...

Looks and personality mainly. I also have a soft spot for my past villagers from WW.

My main dreamie villager was Bob which my friend got for me. I got really attached to him in WW. I still have him in my WW town.

Wolves are my favourite animals, so naturally most of my favourite villagers are the Wolves.I'm also quite fond of Cranky villagers as well. Cuteness factor too.

I like Sterling for being such a goofy knight eagle, Agent S for being such an adorable super heroine, Knox for bring such a cranky chicken, Coco for being such a cute and shy rabbit, and many many more... I have lots of favorites but no dreamies. I guess that's why I tend to cycle through villagers after getting their Pictures.

But I do know that Knox and Sterling are here to say. \o/

I like a lot of animals based on design or personality. However, my favorite isn't my favorite for any of the reasons I normally like a villager.
It was years ago, when I was first getting into videogames on my (then) new gamecube. We rented a game called Animal Crossing from a store that doesn't exist anymore. I only had a few days to play, and I had no idea what the game was about. I vaguely remember planting trees outside of Nook's Cranny, watching fish swim under the bridge never to return, and Lobo. No one else, only Lobo. I remember him saying a few kind words to me, and I remember standing around in his house just to enjoy his company. I wonder if anyone else did that when they first began to play games, just to stand there in the company of an NPC as if they were aware of you.

Anyway. My memories of my first time playing AC faded, but Lobo was one of the memories that remained. He's the one villager I watch for, just hoping someone somewhere will be giving him away and I'll be the first person to ask for him. No luck yet, but I'm not giving up.

It just depends on how attached I get to them. Say I start talking to them and hey just start seeming so amazing. Plus I love them ALL and just have a few that I like a little more than the others ^.^

Looks, personality, and if they were in one of my other towns. My two dreamies are Peanut and Kody. I love their appearance and personality. Also, Peanut was in my GC town, and Kody in my CF town.

First I make sure to have at least one of every personality, after that I pick based off of appearance.
I chose Rocco, Bubbles, Violet, Kyle, Alfonso, Gayle, Bertha, Paula, Jambette, and Sly.

My top favorite out of the bunch are:
1.) Rocco - He has always been my favorite villager so I had to have him.
3.) Violet - I've always been interested in her but I had never seen her in past games until now.
SHE IS GORGEOUS. My god, everything about her is perfection. She is my second favorite villager ever. Seriously.
2.) Bubbles - She is my favorite species and my favorite peppy villager.
4.) Jambette - She is god awfully adorable. She was my close neighbor on City Folk too.

So..yeah that is my top 4.

Whatever appeals to me I guess! I like a lot of cute villagers, but there's also some cute ones I find boring.

A lot often just stems from personal interests of mine! I really want Kabuki because of my interest in that sort of aesthetic, Katt makes me think of cute snaggle-toothed girl characters I love like Goombella, and Eugine looks like a greaser which reminds me of my bf cus he loves that archetype! I like villagers with a flash of personality in their designs.

Mine are based solely on looks more than anything else. Considering all of the dialogues are the same for the personalities, I chose my favourite looks wise for each of the personalities. I have at least one of each personality for unlocking PWPs. I don't like the peppy personality so I don't have a peppy, and snooty and normals are my favourites, so I have two of each for those.

I also base it on their catchphrase. If I think it's witty or fitting, I'll grab them haha.
