Hi guys. In my previous thread, I asked you what I should get for Christmas and I have decided to get a laptop but, I will need your help deciding what kind of laptop I should get.

ANYTHING BUT MAC.

Get a Windows/Acer/Asus. Those are top quality laptop brands. They're at a budget price, and have good specs.

Don't get DELLS. I have one and they're reallllly bad.
If you get a laptop, you'll eventually have to keep on buying batteries for it.
So, I'd buy a desktop.

I have both a windows and a mac, and I like mac so much more.
I know! Mac is awesome! I love it soooo much!!! Apple makes the best computers and laptops. And I love the iPhone (I got that too :D)

Macs are incredibly overpriced and overrated, and Linux... I was never wild about the interface. Honestly, I've never really had any problem with Vista other than the occasional compatibility issue. Get Windows 7, though -- I hear that's the best version in a long time.

No not really. Have you ever used/owned one(long enough to know it and know everything on it? If not then you can't really say that. But if you have I guess you can. But I don't think they're overrated.

Yeah I'll admit they are a bit overpriced. :/ But still awesome :)

Windows.

Mac is pricy and I don't really like using Mac. (My uncle has a Macbook.) Like Bul said, get Windows 7.

Yeah, I have -- every computer at my school is a Mac, and I find the interface a little TOO simple... most Apple mice have only one button, so it's kind of a pain to hold down the Apple key AND click the mouse to get what would be a simple right mouse click on Windows.
