Last thread from old TBT was locked, so, before you ask, yes, there was a thread like this.

Other than English, I speak a fair amount of Spanish, which I am still learning so I may speak with family members.

What about you guys?

(Don't ask about the languages in the poll. I'm going off a list of the most popular languages)

Well, English is my first language, so that I know quite fluently. I've been taking Spanish for the last 3 and a half years (I've been in advanced for 2 years, so I'm taking 10th grade spanish). I do really well in reading, writing, and translating. Speaking, I do okay. I could go faster, but I could definitely have a conversation with someone (as long as they don't speak too fast). Oh, and I took french for half a semester in 5th grade, so I know how to say a sentence or too. And my friend's family speaks fluent Japanese, so in the 9 years of knowing her, I've learned about a word or too.

tl;dr? English and some spanish.

CHINESE IS MORE POPULAR THAN JAPANESE????
WHAT IS THIS

I speak English and Vietnamese.

English is my first.
I am fluent in Serbian and can speak a bit of Polish.
I learn Spanish, French and Latin at school (not a modern language but oh well)

People that say they can speak a language because they had the class in high school are lying. I HIGHLY doubt that you can fluently speak the language in any given situation.

Really only English, i can say a couple of words in Spanish, but not enough to make an entire sentence :( I do hope i can learn other languages soon.

ten semesters of a language class can make you fluent, especially if you actively speak it with people that know it.

10 semesters in High School?

High school and by proxy college if you consider Double enrollment. I count a semester as half a year instead of a quarter though. Then again, I usually went off and did my own thing for language and picked up books instead of taking classes. I consider it more of an.. independent study if you will.

English, and I'm learning French, I'm like the best in my class /cocky.
Also, I understand Yoruba (West African/Nigerian language), But can't speak it :S

I'm fluent in English and German and I understand 2 German dialects. I used to take courses in Spanish and Czech, but I forgot most of it.
