My first language is English, as I was born in the US, but I actually used to be able to speak German fluently around the age of 5, but as soon as my parents broke up, both of them being German, I stopped speaking it, and completely forgot the language, which I regret. And now I am trying to relearn it, and it will be difficult, as it's easier to learn a language at a younger age...
