I was thinking of going with fairytale PWPs, but I can be persuaded into thinking otherwise. I also want to know what type of PWPs I should get that aren?t in a specific theme (ex. tire seats)

Honestly, I don’t have a set idea of what kind of food theme town I’d like to do. I am very open to ideas and suggestions :)

I agree that it depends on the sort of food theme; if it's kind of sweets/dessert/candy themed I'd say Fairytale, if it's more of a city/street food/cafe vibe then modern!

I like the above poster’s idea.

But you didn’t add zen, and for that you’d add lots of seafood and noodle shops.

But of course, your signature looks like it would fit the modern theme if that’s what you like.

And I hate to say it, I’d like it to be based off of Venice.

ACNL has so many japanese food items, a zen town would be fun to make. You can make a sushi/seafood restaurant, sweets shop, noodle shop, fast food chain (kinda like MOS burger the burger chain from japan) etc. The zen bench is also cute. You can put baskets of fruit next to it :3 I'm also fond of zen-themed villager houses. One thing I would suggest not to do is to make those "classic" sweet-exterior houses because it looks a bit too gimmicky and on the nose.

Oops, I lowkey already started. It’s all good though, I only have two of the pieces. I can always restart. Do you recommend any exteriors that would be nice?

Quite honestly, I would have no problem making it inspired by Venice. It would fit pretty nicely, now that i think about it. Would it be ok adding a wooden bridge to my town even if I go with the modern PWPs? (Not saying I will go with modern, I still don’t know yet).

this is basically my own thoughts, with an addition of if you want a more old-timey/classical/down-to-earth feel, zen could work well to that end

alternately too, you could use all 3 for different sections of the town

fairytale stuff for the sweets themed portion

modern for the more traditional restaurants and citylike food/drink hangouts themed portion

zen for the more classical restaurants and traditional japanese cuisine themed portion

Here is a crazy idea: Do something eclectic. Get as much food as you can. And then make the Train Station and the Town Hall one theme.. Make common PWPs, like lights, a second theme. Make the paths the third theme. If your town has three humans (the mayor plus two), have their houses’ exteriors be separate themes which come closer to matching the food inside their houses.

Ok guys so I had a thought: I could make the north half of Bistro the “old part” of Bistro. I could add a few zen PWPs. Then I can make the south part of Bistro have more modern PWPs. However, I think I may still get the classic police station. What do you guys think? In retrospect, it’s not as good as of an idea as I thought it was.

Archway Sculpture, Rack of Rice, Zen Bench maybe to maybe have it look like it's a tablecloth or covering some food, and of course, the picnic blanket.
