What just happened?! Help!

I started the game on a normal day, right? So I decided to go check on rosie in her house and talked to her. She said the normal thing when you talk to villagers and I answered "what's up?"
Then my game got frozen as a empty speech bubble
Rosie is still moving but not talking
Please help
