What is your opinion on plot resetting?

Do you reset your villagers to get the right location/dream villager? Or would you rather let your dreamies come naturally instead of picking them out? I'm thinking of plot resetting to make my perfect town.

I tried plot setting once. Way to much patience for me. I gave up after three tries and now all my villagers move in where ever. I respect people who plot reset because that is hard work. :)

I plot reset because if I let my villagers move in where ever they wanted to my town would be trash. But sometimes I get lucky and when I forget to plot reset they will move in a area with nothing in it c:

I plot reset because there are specific places I want my villagers to go to. In my main town, I let my villagers plot naturally because I didn't know how to plot reset back then, but they plotted pretty nicely actually 0-0 But I did end up plot resetting 2 of them, and the most I did in my main town was around 2 days.

However, in my second town, Poppy took two weeks to plot reset. Never again :o

I don't plot reset, sometimes, I get luck and my permanent villager (Like Roscoe, Fauna, and Zell) will choose the best spots possible

Too much work + Extra characters are meant for extra storage slots so you can't sacrifice that for a house not plopped in flowers

I've used it plenty of times. But that hasn't really stopped me from forgetting and having villagers place their house whereever they want.

You have to be patient, but I find it preferable to having to build your town around it, which has made me more annoyed and lose my desire to play more than anything else in the game.

I tend to plot reset for my first three villagers, though, admittedly, I gave up on trying to get a normal villager today and just adopted another one from my cycling town. ^^; I also plot reset to make sure their houses aren't in completely terrible spots, but I'm not super picky so as long as they're in a spot that doesn't completely suck I'm fine with it.

i always plot reset new villagers, because i have paths and areas i want to be used for pwps in the future

I only plot reset now because I have paths and I don't really enjoy redoing my paths, aha xD before I made my paths, I just let people move in wherever they wanted to :)

I could never find out how to do it and I personally think its too much work.
My town doesn't exactly have any spots that I could reserve for plot resetting so I'd rather leave it random to save my the time.
I would love to have my houses all in one perfect line but its far too late now. I do however respect people who do plot resetting mainly because I understand it requires a ton of patience and time.

I plot reset, but I'm not extremely picky. I usually just have a few areas that I don't want them to land on. The goofs always seem to go in those spots even though theres a ton of space all over the town that they could place their houses.lol. Usually, after a few tries, they place there house in a spot that I can live with.

I've never tried plot resetting before, but I've seen how gorgeous towns turn out to be when it's done, so I'm planning on doing it sometime soon. I've experienced villagers moving into awful places, and I hate when that happens ; n ;

The only hard part of plot resetting is how time-consuming it is, and even I know that. It seems really hard to get everything perfect, especially when you need to place a house in one exact location. //u v u

I plot reset but I am not super strict. I will have a general area I want a villager to move, and reset until needed. I wont spend too much time on resetting.

i wish i found out about plot setting earlier :c
i've only plot setted merengue and she plotted perfectly within one try!
if i had found out sooner, i would probably be more happy as rosie literally chose a horrible spot ;-;
i can deal with my map for now though!

Since I resetted I've tried plot-resetting, I failed once so far. I'm trying not to be too picky, since it is such hard work to even get them into a general direction. My town is still very new with not a lot of PWPs around, so lots of areas they can park their house. I do try to keep the houses to one area though (that 75% of the map lol) just because I do have plans for that small area that I don't want any houses in. But it is so much work! I didn't think it was this much work when I decided to try it.

I wish the game had a zoning feature, but since it doesn't, I plot-reset to make sure my villagers don't plop their houses on orchards, gardens, paths, future PWPs, or right next to the campsite. Otherwise I don't care where they put their house.

Seriously, I hope the next game has residential zoning.

I've never done it; I just let the villagers come naturally. However, if someone offered to give me a Dreamie, I wouldn't turn it down! :)

I plot reset, but if it takes longer than 30 minutes I get really frustrated and end up letting the villager move wherever.
