It should be paid better. The hours you work are insane (much more then contract stated) and its seriously heavy (literally) work. Most metal factories are mostly mechanical by now, but the factory where I worked still relied on manual labour.

But if I knew I had fans as a factory worker, I never would have quit.

I'm currently a server at a Tex-Mex restaurant. I study linguistics and I'm pretty fluent in French and decent in Spanish.

I'm a waitress at a RestoPub called Les Trois Brasseurs / The 3 Brewers. Besides the long, long hours .. I'm pretty lucky to have that job. It pays for the bills & then some. Always around this time of year we're at our busiest, so I've been spending so much time at work lately. I've worked there for about 3 years now. I love the environment, especially when there's a Hockey game on & our team is playing. People tip so well during those events. :}

I am in university (7weeks left) but I also work in an off-licence part time which is a store that sells convinience items, news papers, alcohol, magazines, cigarettes and various other items, so in American terms a liquor store/7/11? I work alone for hours that could be anything between 3-10 hours. Today I am doing 7 hours. I have been here 2 years this month as I started at 18, this is the legal drinking age so that is a requirement for working here.
