what is your favourite bush for landscaping?

so i'm starting to landscape my town, and i'm not really sure what kind of bushes i want. do you have a preference, and if so, why?

(if anyone's curious- i'm aiming for a forest-y town, so i'll be having more trees than bushes, but any recommendations for the ones i do have?)

Now, honestly I like them all. It can range from the Hydrangeas, Hollys or the Sweet Olive.

Blue hydrangeas definitely. I don't use many bushes in my town but I still love em.

Hydrangeas are one of my absolute favorite flowers and maybe even my number 1 favorite? (orchids are really close)

i think i might actually go with the sweet olive because the colours seem more forest-y?

but maybe i'll have some hydrangeas near the beach or something, they're too pretty not to have!

I like hydrangeas the best, especially blue ones. The darker color of the leaves appeals to me and the flowers look stunning too, a bit as if they were glowing. Holly starts are a close second!

As for a forest town, I think any of the starts would be nice depending of the kind of forest you'll be making. I use the hydrangeas for my fairy forest and hollies for a less cutesy forest. I was going to use sweet olives too at first but changed my mind since I find they're kind of bright. They do fit a forest well though. I bet your town'll look great, forest-y towns are my favorites!

I like plain bushes more as my town is more princess-foresty type themed. All they grow are white/red what look like, berries that are not very noticeable so it's perfect!

I like blue and white hydrangeas with the occasional sweet olive. I like azaleas too, though

Probably azaleas because I have a fairytale themed town but if I were to do a forest then hydrangeas

Hydrangas, hibiscus and azaleas are ones I use frequently. When I started playing AC:NL I used hollies and sweet olives but not so much anymore.

I agree. I think sweet olive are the most demure and more forest-y looking! Maybe holly for winter time.

My personal favorite is the blue hydrangea because that's one of my favorite flowers :>

I think hydrangeas look the nicest with cedar trees, so I used hydrangeas almost exclusively in Primrose.
In my second town I'm using a lot of azaleas, because I think they're super cute.
I like hibiscus and sweet olive, too. Not sure why, but I don't really like holly bushes. Maybe because I don't like them irl. Idk

So I guess I don't have a favorite? I mostly like them all

Definitely the hibiscuses, sweet olives, and azaleas for me. I wish the hibiscuses would still bloom for fall because it would look amazing in combination with sweet olives but I get why it wouldn't make sense season wise. ;^;
