because he's a perfect fit for ankha. having both of them together is kinda cute, and you can use the furniture series with them both. it makes for an interesting area if they both live side by side.

plus I love his mummy wraps and eyes XD

Rodney! I fell in love with the weird little hamster immediately. When I learned he was one of the most disliked villagers in the game, I loved him even more... like I was giving him a welcome place to live on an island of misfits

Marshal has been my fav since New Leaf. He was was a random move in and I didn't even know he was popular, I just thought he was ultra cute LOL

Tangy. I had her on both my PG islands at the same time. I had I one GCN memory card with all my other saves and the memory card that came with the game.

I like her a lot because her head's an orange.

Kabuki. He was my favourite villager in my first town in New Leaf (my first AC game) and I love his personality and design.

Cole because he looks like my irl bunny Parker and he’s really cute. After that doc because he’s so cute with his little glasses.

Drift, obviously. I can’t even remember why. He lived on my childhood city folk town and he’s been my favourite ever since. He’s so cute.

Cobb! He’s an underrated pig and was the first animal to greet me in the original Animal Crossing.

I love Colton because he is a prince and his house is very elegant. I change themes for my island pretty regularly, and Colton's elegant house usually blends well enough with whatever theme I choose. When you buy him elegant clothing, he wears it and tastefully displays one outfit he is not wearing near his bed. His dialogue (like all smug villagers) is also very cute.

Of the villagers that were new to New Horizons, I liked Raymond and Audie best and of the 2.0 villagers, Shino is a favorite. Shino's house is amazing and I love that she is peppy and has the education hobby.

Of the new 3.0 villagers, I have Mineru since I had an amiibo that would bring her. Her design is lovely and I like her house exterior. I haven't been able to see the inside of her house yet though. Unfortunately, I tried the game her character is inspired by -- Tears of the Kindgom -- but it was too difficult for me so I don't know much about her inspirations.

I really like ducks in AC. They are so cute. This one moved in my AC:WW town when I was playing on the DS, what 20 years ago. I had played AC on GCN before, but never met her.
She was my neighbour, and I wasn't happy to see this odd duckling moving next to my house. I didn't find her endearing at first. But, we spoke regularly, and her demeanour was oh so silly. She made me discover the peppy personality. I had her in pretty much all my villages ever since.
I was playing ACNH yesterday, and there she was, all in her bubbly, peppy, self-assured, quirky way, strutting her stuff in the snow with a matching blue winter coat and tuque. I was like: she is the most precious little thing !

I've played Wild World, New Leaf, and am enjoying New Horizons a lot. Didn't have a favourite in Wild World, but since New Leaf my ride or die is Kid Cat. Dude's a super hero cat, has the same birthday month as me, literally has the #1 on his outfit, need you more reason to see why he's the best?

I actually didn't think a jock would be my favourite villager, but he always called me brosephine in NL and it always tickled me. One of these days I will find him on an island and invite him to Waddle
