With summer rapidly coming to an end, everyone who has their towns set to real time will begin to experience the different colors of autumn in AC. Over the course of this season, your trees will begin to turn from yellow to orange to red, then finally brown. Which of these times is your favorite?
My favorite time of autumn, and of the year in general is Nov. 18 - Nov. 25 when your trees turn a vivid red. It's such a beautiful week and I am excited to see it in my current town.
I really like the first stage, Sept 16 - Oct 16, because everything is still green with just a hint that autumn is approaching. Then, I also love the two stages from Nov 10 - Nov 25 when the trees are vibrant orange and red. I can't really pick just one. All three of those are my favorites.
Well I am in a different country and set mine to real time so this is not actually true, It's actually the beginning of spring for me. Regardless, my favourite part is when the trees are a nice bold, bright red/orange. It's a very nice look and true Autumn
November 10-17/18-25 are the most aesthetically pleasing. Personally, I prefer Nov. 10-17, though, since the reddish hue is just enough to make red fruit still stand out.
My favorite is November 18th to the 25th. I really like the dark orange/red color, and how it is not quite brown yet. I really don't like Dec 1st to the 10th becuse the trees look dead and brown.
I love the whole of November and, yes, even the dead brown of December. I wish the stages were all moved up though. Things should lose the blue-green of high summer in August (that grass color is around too long imo) , be yellow in September, orange in October... It'd feel more "fall".
My favorite part would be the middle of November to end. I really love the orange and reds and I really like it when at the end of November it starts to snow. I rarely get to see snow in real life or the natural colors of Fall on the trees, so it's a nice touch to see in my game. ^-^
From the pictures you provided in the original post, I'd say my favorite period of Autumn in New Leaf would be from November 10 through November 17.
November 18 through November 25 is also nice, but I prefer the less intense orange of the 10th-17th period over the deeper red-orange of this one.
I also have to mention the October 25 through November 1 period, as the yellow leaves are prettty subtle, pleasant, and go well with the changing color of the ground. It also gets the mention because my favorite holiday both in real life and in the game is Halloween, so I have affection for the look and it is pretty memorable for me.
Finally, the November 26 through November 30 colors are pretty nice. The last gasp of Autumn color before December changes them to a dull brown. It's a shame that it only lasts for four days.
